Unfortunately we did not get a chance to eat here due to poor customer service.

We had a reservation at 6:00pm and upon arriving the waiter informed us that our reservation is at the other location (our own mistake). We then asked him politely if it’s possible to dine here since we came all the way and considering that it was early and the restaurant is empty. He said they are fully booked (80% tables were empty) we did not argue and we went outside. I then checked the online reservation system and to my surprise there were so many available tables, so we booked a table at this location for 6:45pm. We went back inside and (giving the waiter the benefit of doubt that there might been a confusion from his side of the availability) we showed him our “confirmed” reservation. The waiter then refused to let us in since we had another booking at the other location, i explained to him that i will be calling them and cancel our reservation there. The waiter then kept on refusing to let us in and saying that it is (company policy) as they are not allowed to “Steal” customers. It was frustrating that the restaurant was not willing to accommodate at all specially that we followed the booking protocol and managed to actually find a booking so it should not be the restaurant decision to let us in or not. Lastly, i work in hospitality and have been to many cities and restaurants and have never encountered this odd policy for a restaurant under the same umbrella. There is no such thing as (stealing) customers as it is not a competition and is the customer own preference to eat at a certain location if they manage to get a confirmed reservation and if they came all the way...

I have visited many different steak restaurants all over the world and have therefore been having a long debate with myself whether it was a 4 or a 3 star experience, but some things have unfortunately dragged it down: Slow, uninterested and even a bit arrogant service. Waited for our drinks for over 10 minutes, food for over 30, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I do understand that it might have occurred because we were a party of 7, however there was many waiters and the restaurant was empty. There was another table right next to ours who was disturbing the peace in the whole restaurant by screaming, laughing, banging on the table with their hands, just overall acting like animals etc, none of the staff didn't do anything about it, even though they were obviously ruining the restaurant's image. It was impossible to enjoy a family dinner because of them. There no air conditioning either (at least not downstairs) and we were all struggling for our lives because of how hot it is. By the moment our food arrived, our mood was already average because of all the above mentioned reasons, it was delicious and I guess that's it. Nothing extraordinary. There was many things missing off the menu that I tried ordering and was told "we don't have those anymore", including a desert wine, one of the striploin steaks etc. Overall I would give it another try, but probably wouldn't use it as a place to bring my family to for a...

I’m honestly amazed that this place can survive in Copenhagen. My wife and I are on the carnivore diet and just ate steak at multiple locations in Czech, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden before arriving in Denmark. By no means have we only hit the best steakhouses in each country/major city. Last night we ate at the Vesterbrogäde location. It was the worst meal of our entire trip/ the steak was cooked wrong, not even close. We ordered medium rare and got well done. We also ordered a chicken main course for an appetizer, that was supposed to be lightly breaded and what we got made KFC look like a lightly breaded chicken. There was literally no meat for the equivalent of like 21 euro. There’s no way I would recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. In fact avoid it at all costs. I politely complained to the server and sent the chicken back (obviously without eating it) and the manager came out without even seeing the dish we sent back and informed us there was nothing they could about it and we would have to pay. Not only terrible food but horrible service. They are batting 1000. Bummer as it’s a really cool place, that’s clearly what poor management will do for you. Again consider this a warning. Go...

From start to finish, this place delivered an exceptional dining experience. The carpaccio was a flawless opener — tender, fresh, and beautifully seasoned. The crispy broccoli was a surprisingly addictive side, perfectly roasted with just the right bite. Also the tacos 🌮 were good to go. We went for the KÖD Explorer to try a variety of cuts, and it was an excellent decision. The absolute highlights were the Wagyu — rich, buttery, and perfectly cooked — and the tenderloin, which was impressively tender and packed with flavor. The ribeye was decent, though slightly overshadowed by the brilliance of the other cuts. Service was warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The team made great pairing suggestions and timed every course perfectly. If you’re a meat lover in Copenhagen, KÖD is an essential stop. Incredible quality, relaxed atmosphere, and standout dishes you’ll remember long after the last bite.
