The market hall is a very good place for not only shopping but just strolling without making plans, asking many questions is no prob, the sellers are happy to help despite language barriers.
Sometimes visitors step in to help, sometimes other sellers try to translate and sometimes just body language will be the common language to find solution for the done deals. But in most places the sellers are speaking English or at least enough English-spoken, also Finnish goes sometimes.
