The whole experience is something to look forward. Artic circle, Tropics, Ecuator, all this imaginary lines on the map are points of reference for a travel. Aside the achievement of reaching these destinations, The Artic Circle at Rovaniemi is a great enhancement. It is simply beautiful. We were lucky to get some snow at the beginning of November. Read moreThe line of the beginning of the arctic circle. This is found in Santa Claus village, and is easily accessible. Free to enter. Parking available. It's marked by large red lit up pillar lights and the line continues even going through a shop. The floor is also marked. Next to the pillars is a live webcam being streamed online so this is a busy area, as its often used for photography. Inside the information centre you can buy a certificate saying that you've crossed the arctic circle line.
