The start of this Private Tour experience beings with Eve (co-owner)’s impeccable, professional, and responsive communication. It was this demonstration of these values which gave me the confidence to book with them, and that was only the start of Chemins de Bourgogne exceeding our wildest expectations. The amount of preparation work with the local vineyards to ensure the three private tastings were efficient and enjoyable as possible, as well as tailoring the recommendations to our interests for the day, has not gone un-noticed and it was greatly appreciated. Our guide, SĂ©bastien, was an extremely passionate and experienced wine professional (who has been a Sommelier at 3 Michelin Star Restaurants, runs a few wine businesses and has 5 of his own vintages under his belt). We begun the tour where we should – in the vineyards experiencing the terroirs of grand cru burgundy. It only got better from then – visiting local producers with biodynamic vineyards offering an impressive and broad range tasting from Village level to 1er and Grand Cru. It was great to experience the local Burgundian enthusiasm and our guide’s tasting notes were great to compare with. This was a once in a lifetime experience where we got to experience Burgundy just as the locals do, with the wine that doesn’t usually make it out of Beaune. This is a MUST DO for any Burgundy wine lover, and there is no better company to do it with. Whole heartly recommend CheMins de Bourgogne and the wonderful team led by Eve and SĂ©bastien. Your search for the perfect Burgundy wine tour is over, book with ease and confidence and start enjoying! They also made purchasing and sending wine back home an absolute breeze. Really enjoying the wine back at home and savouring the memories. Kind Regards, Mike.

Clarice was a very friendly, knowledgeable and personable guide for our full day tour and tastings in CĂŽte de Beaune and CĂŽte de Nuits, Bourgogne. She created a fun-loving, relaxed environment while providing us with a lot of great information about the region. It was extra special to be here during the harvest! The lunch stop at Le Cellier Volnaysien was perfection - a charming location with fabulous traditional cuisine. The only small criticism we had was the full day program is actually two half day tours put together so there was a bit of repetition of the information provided (as were were joined by different travelers between morning and afternoon) and we would have loved to have visited one more winery to taste more of the glorious wines of this region. But overall, highly recommend this tour if you're in Burgundy!

We joined a full-day vineyard tour in Burgundy in July 2025, and had a great experience. Our guide, Raffael, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very engaging throughout the day, even with the heat hitting 35°C. He shared interesting observations as we travelled and tailored the information to suit our interests, which made the tour feel personal. The itinerary was well thought out, with visits to vineyards and two wine tastings. The second tasting in Gevrey-Chambertin was a highlight—we got to compare wines from the same domaine, made from nearby plots with different classifications, which was a great way to understand the nuances of Burgundy wines. Raffael also kindly took us to see the specific plots where the wine we purchased was grown, which was a really nice touch. Overall, a well-organised and enjoyable day.

I wholeheartedly recommend the wine tasting day trip with Chemins de Bourgogne! I had a wonderful time – the trip clearly exceeded my expectations. Our friendly, professional and super competent guide, Alex, helped us really get to know and understand Bourgogne and its world-famous vineyards, in a way that made me better appreciate this beautiful region, its people and its extraordinary wines. Alex took the time to explain in detail (his English is excellent!) the elements that make Bourgogne stand out; he taught us patiently how to spot the elements included on a typical wine label and how to recognize the differences in landscape and environmental factors that can lead to dramatic variations in the quality of the wine even within the same village. He talked about the various elements that make this region unique, and also helped us better understand the challenges that wine makers face, and the hard work and dedication that goes into producing some of the most expensive and most famous wines in the world. All this was extremely useful and the fact that we were able to go in the heart of the vineyards, look at the different plots, get to feel the land and see the landscape from up close, made the experience all the more enriching.

The trip was extremely well organized. Everything happened as planned and we all felt well taken care of throughout. I also liked the fact that the two wine tasting sessions were separated by lunch in a wonderful local restaurant with delicious regional specialities, including some excellent choices for vegetarians like me!

During the two, very different, tasting sessions, we got to taste an excellent variety of wines, white, rosé and red, of course. Time flew as we travelled through wonderful villages, each one prettier and more famous than the other. Bourgogne has a lot to offer, and clearly Alex and the team at Chemins de Bourgogne know how to showcase the best of the region they call home.

All in all, this trip has taught me a lot, made me love Bourgogne even more, and really helped me see the richness and complexity of this wonderful part of France. I’d love to come back in autumn to do another trip and see the vineyards dressed in golden...

10/10! If you’ve found this review and are thinking about booking with Chemins de Bourgogne, I suggest you do it RIGHT NOW! Booking with Chemins de Bourgogne was the single best decision we made for our trip to Europe this year. Chemins de Bourgogne’s wine tours are incredibly interesting and informative without being dense or boring. SĂ©bastien is so nice and knowledgeable, he really cultivated a 10/10 experience for us in every way. Everything was amazing, from the wines we tasted, to the views from the places SĂ©bastien took us to, to the company (SĂ©bastien, Eve, and the individuals we met along the way)—all amazing! SĂ©bastien’s stellar reputation preceded him everywhere we went which made for really positive experiences throughout. We had such a wonderful time that we begged SĂ©bastien to squeeze an additional wine tour in for us which he graciously did! SĂ©bastien even gave us restaurant and travel suggestions for our spare time in Beaune and Dijon—all of which were just what we were looking for (memorable food, people, and experiences). Bottom line is that we are soooo incredibly thankful to have found and met SĂ©bastien and Eve. Not only did SĂ©bastien’s guidance through Bourgogne wine make our trip, but it has also absolutely changed our knowledge and perception of wine and how we will continue to learn and explore wine for...
