A fantastic dining experience at Bouchon du Palais! We started with three appetizers—escargot, Lyonnaise salad, and the duo of œufs en meurette—all absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the Coq au Vin à l’ancienne and the Tête de Veau et sa sauce. The coq au vin was rich and comforting, while the tête de veau is definitely an acquired taste with its gelatinous texture, but well-prepared and authentic.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a true bouchon experience with great...

Be aware that the restaurant only serves between 19h00 and 21h00 and was fully booked on the two days that we visited (Thursday and Friday), so I advise you to make an reservation to avoid any disappointment :) Would...
Read moreAdorable little restaurant just around the corner from the main square and a world away. It's like a small, country cafe tucked away in a quiet square. They do have great escargot (very large, almost couldn't get one out of the shell) but not the "greatest ever" unless it's one of your first times. They have two exceptional chicken dishes, one with a mustard sauce and traditional coq au vin. Can't speak for other dishes but they looked great coming out of the kitchen. We sat at that little 2-top you see in the 1st photo. Great wines at great prices (thankfully!). Best part is the lightning service. That's the advantage of a small place,...
