Le Bouchon Du Palais — Restaurant in Dijon

A fantastic dining experience at Bouchon du Palais! We started with three appetizers—escargot, Lyonnaise salad, and the duo of œufs en meurette—all absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the Coq au Vin à l’ancienne and the Tête de Veau et sa sauce. The coq au vin was rich and comforting, while the tête de veau is definitely an acquired taste with its gelatinous texture, but well-prepared and authentic.

The wine list is excellent, and prices are very reasonable for the quality. The location is tucked just behind the busier tourist restaurants facing the palace, making it feel more authentic and local. Service was warm and attentive throughout.

The perfect place in Dijon to experience the local atmosphere and taste. In front of the old Justice Court, around the corner of Liberation Square, this absolute gem serve fresh local dishes for the ridiculous price of €31,- for a 3-course dinner. The waiter is very friendly and knowledgeable and even gave us amazing tips for local bars and go-to’s. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately made a reservation for the next day. Adorable little restaurant just around the corner from the main square and a world away. It's like a small, country cafe tucked away in a quiet square. They do have great escargot (very large, almost couldn't get one out of the shell) but not the "greatest ever" unless it's one of your first times. They have two exceptional chicken dishes, one with a mustard sauce and traditional coq au vin. Can't speak for other dishes but they looked great coming out of the kitchen.
