Good option if you use it over 2 days for 1 ticket Decided on our last day in Paris on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, to travel to the Eiffel Tower and take a River Cruise on the Batobus boat. Having checked out the river cruise options, we decided to select the Hop on/Hop Off Batobus as we wanted to use the service to visit a couple of locations on the route, but in truth, you could do this more easily and cost-effectively via the Metro. As it was, we went to the Batobus ticket booth and purchased 2 tickets at 23 Euro each. There was no map provided or available, as the member of staff said to take a photo of the map poster, and I had to pay using a card as the cashier had no change available. Once we started queuing, we were informed it would be a 45-minute wait as a boat had broken down. This is a negative aspect of this type of service, as in truth, there is no motivation to provide a regular service, as once you purchase your ticket, you have to accept what is on offer, unlike a normal Seine cruise, where you would select the one leaving sooner. As it was, once the boat arrived, most passengers exited at this stop. Once on the boat, as listed, there is no commentary (this is like the Uber Boats on the Thames tbh, but unlike them, there are no toilets or refreshments on board). We exited at the Notre Dame stop and then re-joined at the same stop (Most passengers seem to enter and exit at either the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame). Option to sit or stand inside or stand in an open area at the boat's rear end. The ticket lasts 24 hours, so I suggest you purchase it at say 1700 so you can enjoy a night-time cruise and see the city at night, and then you will have all day till 1700 the following day to do the same for all or part of the cruise during...

We took a trip on April 30th and it was a very disappointing experience.

When we purchased the tickets, we were told that the boat comes every 20-25 minutes. It was omitted that on Saturdays the boats might be so full that you are not guaranteed a slot on the next boat. While the first trip was fine, exactly that happened to us. We waited for 20 minutes for the next boat and couldn’t enter. What was more frustrating was that we were one of the first in the line waiting and when the boat came everyone just „stormed“ the entry while the crew did not care at all who was first there. We were told in a very unfriendly way that they cannot check who waited how long which in theory is right but they really did not bother at all about this. After that, I went to the ticket station and requested a refund. Again, they did not really care and only explained me that they don‘t do refunds and handed me some card of the management.

At the end, were were able to enter the boat again at another station and all in all, this was fine. But nonetheless, I cannot recommend this company which does not care about...

Absolute fraudsters! We bought tickets to go on a return journey in Paris and showed our dog to the ticket booth who said that we can take the dog on a lead. Come boarding time, the captain refused to board us as the dog isn't muzzled and asked us to get a refund for the ticket from the same booth we bought it. To our surprise, they don't provide any refunds as the unusable ticket we were sold is non-refundable.

Ignoring the fact this dog even goes punting with complete strangers and doesn't cause a scene in the TRULY dog friendly England, how come a service your company is unable to provide not be a genuine cause for a refund? Being the dishonest agents they are, they gave 1000 excuses for not being able to provide a refund which we didn't accept. We will get the funds back from the card issuer and log a fraud against this company, but I can only imagine what happens to people who buy these tickets with cash. Stay away or if you must, book online through Paypal or card payments...

The Batobus river tour of the Seine in Paris is a nice way to see some of the tourist attractions in Paris that are at the river bank. You can get off, visit the site, and then, when you're ready to continue, get on the next boat to continue the tour. The seats are comfortable, but there are three issues that prevent me from giving this service a full five stars. 1. During the height of the tourist season, which is when I was there, the boats should come along more frequently. 2. Because people tend to take pictures through the windows, they should keep the windows cleaner than they do now. 3. The guides who describe the sights should describe more of the sights than they do now. They should describe places that the boat passes as well as the ones where the boat stops, and the public address system should have better quality speakers. They are not using 21st century speakers. The sound quality sounded like they are using technology from the 1980s.

It’s good if you do not want to walk a lot. I was there at about 1pm and the sun was on the right side of the boat. So you may want to take note on where to sit. Services runs until 5pm only; which is a very short time if you ask me. Considering I bought the tickets at 1:30pm. Oh yes, the tickets are 24h upon purchase. So if you bought tickets at 12pm, you can use it until 12pm tomorrow! There are 9 stops in total and takes about 1h45m to complete the whole loop. There were a few things we didn’t personally like but it’s just a preference. 1) The cashier is VERY VERY hard on exact change. Do not understand why. Insist that we give exact change. 2) The seats at the centre isle springs back noisily. 3) The wait at the dock is too long sometimes; do not understand why since there’s nobody queuing. Include some scenic photos
