A friend was put into contact with a promoter who promised a group of us free entry, free access to the vip area, and free drinks, provided we arrive on time and follow the strict dress code. Upon arrival, whilst waiting for the promoter (who was late) it became increasingly obvious that we were essentially there for the visual enjoyment of the male patrons, which was not the nicest feeling for us personally. The promoter, Jules, didnât seem to have a clue what he was doing, spending most of the evening on a call, and vaping, in contrast to the other promoters who actually got their clients into the VIP area. Jules told us that we would have to wait, so we were left sitting behind the barrier for over an hour. He eventually brought us a single bottle of wine between a dozen of us - this constituting the âfree drinks all nightâ - but only after we had all paid extortionate prices for our first round. After a while we approached the gentleman on the door as Jules was getting us nowhere, who likewise told us weâd have to wait, although we failed to see what the hold up was as there was plenty of room. After several hours, we were given passes into the VIP area, but as I was going down the stairs, I felt some kind of force from behind me, and tripped down the last few steps. Rather than provide any assistance whatsoever, I was manhandled by security, had my pass ripped off me, with no patience for my explanation of what had happened. They forced me out of the club, and I immediately started to have a panic attack. I am a small, short-sighted young woman in a country that is not my own, I had been separated from my friends, I had been manhandled, and now I was suffering from a severe anxiety attack on my own outside the club. It took a while for my friends to find out where I had gone, as my panic attack inhibited me even being able to communicate. This club is fundamentally unsafe for young women, and the staff ultimately failed in their duty of care of their clients. Also the whole aquarium novelty wears off...

Read moreEntry fee is 25⏠with one free drink. The club is a bit exclusive, having the main dance floor closed off to only VIP. Shots are 8âŹ. There is one main smoking room and one main club room. The toilets are quite clean. The music is mostly pop remixes or techno which is good for dancing along to. Keep in mind: the smoking room has no ceiling so it's really cold at night, I recommend bringing a thin jacket with you if you plan on smoking. My friend ended up being passed out drunk and acting verbally and physically violent towards everyone in the club by closing time and the staff helped us carry her out and call for an ambulance. And they even stayed long after closing time which I genuinely appreciate a lot. Sadly, I don't think we'd be welcomed back there after my friend's drunk experience. However, I do recommend going there if you're thinking about going...
