My experience at Dubai Art DIFC 2021 has been spoiled while I was admiring the art pieces in the B14 Paris/Brussels section, when Ms Anne Claudie Couric, the Executive director of Templon Gallery, shouted at me very loudly in front of the visitors as I mistakenly touch a wooden art piece. We were in a public place surrounded by people.
I understand her frustration with me gently touching the artwork, which I did without ulterior motives. Then I went to talk to her calmly to express my feelings towards her disrespectful attitude and to apologise for my mistake. But, she refused to listen, then shouted at me again and called the security for me to be taken out of the exhibition as she claims that she didn't feel safe seeing me around.
The matter has been escalated to the fair organisers to contain the situation but, she didn't want to cooperate and to apologise for her attitude as I did already for my mistake.
I want to escalate this matter to whom it may concern as I firmly refuse such behaviour.
