First went into room and noticed no Eiffel Tower from anywhere in the room unless you were right up at the window and had to look out to the left. Really is very poor that Ibis class this as an Eiffel Tower view room. They must look into adding a disclaimer on to these rooms as I would go as far as saying it could be considered false advertisement. I went to reception and showed photo's etc. and they moved us to another room but did feel like it was my fault. Room very basic as expected, main issue initially was no hot drink refreshments but this probably isn't listed so can't complain. However, what is listed but wasn't included is air conditioning. The room was extremely hot even with the window open and/or air conditioning (in italics) switched on. First night hardly got any sleep and my girlfriend was unwell, really disappointing and again could be seen as false advertisement as when I went and spoken to reception on this they said that there is only air conditioning in the summer months and the control unit in the room is just a fan which is connected to all other rooms - it was far too hot! After stating and showing as per the room details that air conditioning was listed, I wasn't given any sort of solution other than offering a fan - which I accepted reluctantly with nothing else on offer. I was told this fan would be delivered to the room - unfortunately the fan was never delivered! Frustrated and with no confidence at this point we had to have another restless night. What was meant to be a relaxing getaway ended up being stressful and we felt a lot worse than before we arrived.

Staff were okay but cannot really say they were anymore than this and didn't really help with the highlighted problems, appreciated the room move but did feel like it was my fault.

Standard of room was as expected for the centre of Paris and the price. Two pointers : You need to review the Eiffel tower view rooms which I paid extra for, the first room there was no view from 99% of the room. Even the second view was only okay and not worth the extra money. Sure this isn't the first time you have received this feedback.

You must change your description of including air conditioning, there was none and reception confirmed this, my girlfriend was ill and no air conditioning made the stay very difficult.

Really disappointed as previously had good experiences in staying in Ibis hotels but quite frankly as a frequent traveler I may now be inclined to avoid Ibis hotels in the future.

Would appreciate some feedback on the above as interested what your opinion is on the two main points I have raised?
