Happy Grill 해피그릴 — Restaurant in Paris

Service staff were friendly, attentive and also spoke English, helped with the BBQ grilling.

Food wise: seafood pancake was delicious, nice variety and quantity of seafood, good balance of crispy edges and fluffy interior. BBQ meats were of good quality and great variety of side dishes. Not sure if the side dishes were refillable, but if they were, that would be another major plus point.

The only thing If I could fault would be that the desserts could have been better: I did not really like the texture of the mochis. It did not have the soft chewy texture and was too gummy. Bing su overall tasted good, thanks to the toppings and ingredients, but texture of shaved ice was too icy and grainy, not like how bing su should be. Could have added more injeolmi powder too. Ravioli Tatin was surprisingly good, but could perhaps have given one more ravioli in relation to the big scoop of ice cream. The nurungji tuile below the ice cream was a nice touch.

Overall a bit pricey, but that's in exchange for the good service and...

This restaurant is just THE BEST, the food was literally just perfect and unlike many other restaurants in Paris, this one shines! Food came out swift but at its highest quality! True Korean-authentic meals were served to us! The food was sensational!

Service was just a delight! The owner was the nicest person I’ve met at my time in Paris! Even the other waiters were quite nice! It has come to me no wonder why this place is called Happy Grill! Speed and dedication was powerful!

Last but not least, Atmosphere. The atmosphere was amazing! The inside looked cozy but we chose the outside seats as some air would be nice and yet still filled with a wave of a mouth-watering grilled beef aroma! Seats were comfortable, table was large, sturdy, and well gripped so dishes won’t fall easily! I couldn’t ask for a better experience!

I went several times, everytime this place never disappoint me. Compare to other korean restaurant in Paris, the price is reasonable and the food is remarkable. I have tried dishes like jjigae and gopchang too, they are very good. However for me the siganture menu for this place is barbeque. The picture I attached show how good it is. The part I love is not only the great quality of meat but very well prepared various side dishes including special sauce for barbeque. I strongly recommend and the service is extremly good. The place is cozy and you have enough space. The owner told me that it's been a year now since they opened, toilet and table chairs every equipments look brandnew. Even during the weekday it is very crowded so you better to book it before. The location is right next to la motte piquet grennel easy to reach by metro line 6,8,10. You will not regret!
