Attended a small conference at this large conferencing and performance space in Strasbourg.
Location is good; but outside of city centre. You can get a tram or take a taxi - Bolt cars were plentiful and there is a pickup outside.
Modern building with much concrete and glass. It can be tricky to find the correct entrance as the signage is poor - cellotaped notices had been added to assist in our case.
Interior has spectacular concrete formed ceilings and large public spaces. Massive cloakroom for coats can be viewed from above. Number of toilets provided probably inadequate for larger events.

The Palais des Congrès offers easy access via public transportation, even though it’s slightly far from the city center. Fortunately, there are several hotels in the surrounding area, which makes it convenient for event attendees.
The venue itself is very spacious and features multiple rooms suitable for simultaneous sessions. However, I found the interior to be quite warm, which made long periods indoors a bit uncomfortable.
Overall, it’s a well-structured venue with great logistics — but better climate control would improve the experience...
Read moreWent to a Lang Lang concert here, great seating and acoustics. Location was easy to access by tram. The queue for a drink/sandwich took at least 10mins for everyone, which was a shame. Slight downside they tried to accommodate latecomers by letting them in during the performance. They stood at the back whispering while they waited for an applause break, which was intensely annoying. Same with returning after the break, Lang Lang had to wait several minutes on stage while many people were still coming back. I feel this needs to be better addressed by the...
