The despicable service and welcome provided by certain members of staff outweighs the charm of this potentially beautiful venue.
We ordered food in the outside seating area. After we ate, we decided to enter the venue for a drink as it was starting to snow and get quite cold. Upon seating, the manageress was consistently hassling us to make sure we only took up a certain amount of seats and that we needed to order food if we wanted to stay within the area. We explained that we had already eaten and she accepted this but we were also told to not come back after this visit as we would not be served again. Despite the lovely warm heater we were sat under, we still shook off the cold reception and looked at the menu. Within 20 seconds of reading the menu, the manageress was back once again pestering us to make an order. Before we could do so, I was told to move off of the seat I was sat on for no reason. After which point, my friend commented that she was being quite rude. She then developed a vendetta for him and became very aggressive and confrontational with all of us. We decided that it would be better to leave as at this point we felt very unwelcome. Upon starting to walk out of the venue the manageress was explaining to me how she didn't like my friend and that we are all welcome to stay except for my friend. Obviously this was unacceptable and I politely declined. She then got angry and mockingly greeted us goodbye and persisted with sharing her distain for certain members of the group.
As we were standing outside deciding what to do with the rest of our day, we found some friends we met the previous day who had just been declined a table from the same venue. Upon seeing that we recognised them, the manageress came out and asked them why they were friends with us as we were horrible people and that they were not welcome by association essentially.
I know this review sounds like a long story of he said/she said schoolyard gossip but the service and reception I received at this venue was one of the most disappointing I have ever experienced on my travels.

Read moreWhole experience ruined by horrific service from the manageress who ironically behaved much like a Yeti, terrorising us every 5 minutes throughout our time as apparently 2 of our party having a crepe did not meet the definition of lunch in her view… something she told us 4 times in the proceeding 20 minutes.
Just as we couldn’t be made to feel any more welcome she then topped it off by lying to us - suggesting that we had to leave within 15 minutes for another reservation despite the fact that they don’t accept reservations….
In total we spent 30 horrific minutes here and would not return. Food was ok if anyone...
Read moreWe have been to the Yeti on numerous occasions over the years but our recent visit left us very disappointed. We were a group of 6 and ordered over 100 euros drinks and food only to be told by the waitress that we had not ordered enough and not to come to the restaurant if we weren’t going to order more! Obviously we were very disappointed with this as thoughout our stay we had used the Yeti on most days and spent over 1000 euros with them during the week. Their attitude seems very short sighted and we will take our business...
