Nestled in the heart of Toulouse, Cacao Fages is a hidden gem for chocolate connoisseurs and those with a sweet tooth alike. My recent visit to this boutique chocolaterie left me indulging in a sensory journey that surpassed all expectations. From the moment you step into Cacao Fages, the rich aroma of fine chocolate envelopes you, setting the stage for an exquisite experience. The display showcases an array of beautifully crafted chocolates, each a work of art in itself. The attention to detail and dedication to quality are evident, making it clear that Cacao Fages is a haven for those who appreciate the artistry of chocolate-making. The variety of chocolate creations is impressive, ranging from classic truffles to innovative and exotic flavor combinations. Whether you're a fan of the pure and intense flavors of dark chocolate or prefer the creamy sweetness of milk chocolate, Cacao Fages has something to cater to every palate. What sets Cacao Fages apart is not just the quality of their chocolates but also the passion and expertise of the chocolatiers. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to guide you through the selection, offering insights into the origins of the cocoa beans and the meticulous crafting process that goes into each delectable piece. The packaging at Cacao Fages is as elegant as the chocolates themselves, making it an ideal destination for those looking for a thoughtful and sophisticated gift. Whether you're treating yourself or surprising a loved one, the presentation adds an extra layer of charm to the overall experience. The cozy ambiance of the store invites you to linger, savoring each bite in a relaxed setting. The staff's friendly and attentive service further enhances the overall enjoyment, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages exploration and discovery.

Saw the reviews and came for the hot chocolate. Dine in is slightly more expensive than the take away. Take out is 2.50 for a petite traditional one 4 euros for a large one. It was good, but I am not sure what the rave is all about....my personal favorite is in Columbia so maybe my expectations were too high. It was a very enjoyable hot chocolate though. More on the liquid type and less thick. I bought some chocolates which one turned out really weird but the other ones were very good. I still have a box that I haven't tasted yet. Good chocolates and very cool sculptures in the dining area.

Indulgence has a name, and it's cacaofages, standing tall as one of Toulouse's premier chocolateries. Conveniently located in the vibrant neighborhood of Saint Cyprien, and just a stone's throw from my apartment, this haven of chocolate delights never ceases to impress.

Their chocolate cookies? Think rich, decadent, and crumbly perfection. And don't get me started on their intricate chocolates – each piece feels like a tiny work of art that's almost too beautiful to eat (but believe me, you'll want to). The ice creams, especially on a warm Toulouse day, are the stuff of dreams, offering a creamy, chocolaty escape.

What truly sets cacaofages apart, however, is the ambiance. The store is adorned with remarkable chocolate sculptures that elevate the experience from a simple visit to a veritable feast for the eyes. Whether you're stopping by for a swift chocolate fix or lingering with a velvety hot chocolate, you're in for a treat. And a pro tip from a local? Try everything at least once. You won't regret it. Sweet delights await...

I had some really great hot chocolat, the best I've had in Toulouse! My partner and I both preferred the Le traditionnel over the Le robuste. I personally would have liked a slightly thicker consistency, as I'm a fan of truly liquid-melted chocolate, but many people might appreciate this lighter version compared to the usual cocoa drinks like Poulain. The cups keep the heat in really well, so you can take your time without it cooling down too quickly. It was also fascinating to watch the chocolatiers at work, especially when they were preparing chocolate Easter eggs. With drinks priced between 5€ and 6,50€ (03/25), it's a fair deal. Their pralines are tasty too, although they didn't quite reach the flavor heights I've found...
