Leipzig Central Station is quite large, yet it is very well maintained, providing a pleasant experience. Every time I visited, I noticed that the moving walkways, escalators, and elevators were all functioning properly—I've never seen any of them out of order. Transferring to trains or other public transportation was completely hassle-free.
Additionally, the presence of shopping centers makes it very convenient, and I found that the number of homeless individuals was noticeably lower compared to many other city central stations, which made me feel safe even when using the station late at night.
