If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Leipzig, look no further than the Indian Masala food restaurant in Promanaden. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly owner who is more than happy to help you navigate the extensive menu.
The standout feature of this restaurant is their buffet-style service. The buffet menu boasts an impressive variety of Indian dishes, including two types of rice, sautéed broccoli and French beans, daal, three types of chicken curry (mango chicken boneless, spinach chicken boneless, chicken curry with bone) and two vegetarian dishes. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced to your liking. You can tell that the chefs take great pride in their work, and it definitely shows in the quality of the dishes. The buffet is also perfect for anyone looking for a quick and filling meal. And if you're not in the mood for the buffet, you can always order a la carte.
Even for non-Indians, the Indian Masala food restaurant is a great place to try some delicious Indian dishes. The mango chicken and mango lassi are especially delicious and highly recommended. Even if you are not a fan of Indian food, you will enjoy their mango chicken and mango lassi. The sweetness of mango perfectly balances the spices in the chicken curry, and the lassi is a refreshing drink that complements the meal well.
One of the highlights of the restaurant is the samosa. They are among the best in Leipzig, with a generous size, excellent quality, and value for money. Four samosas will cost you around 8 euros, which is an absolute steal for the amount of flavor and satisfaction they provide.
Personally, i found the sauce of the drumstick is bit sweeter not tasty as per my preference.
The buffet all you can eat will cost you 18 euro One time big plate 10 euro And small plate i think 8 euro. If you are opting for the buffet make sure to ask them to get an understanding what all items are included in the buffet. There are few things present at the front section of the restaurant like chicken drumstick, samosa , fritters etc which are not included in the buffet.
You will get no beef or pork here. And their attitude towards pure veg dish a little bit casual. So, if you’re on a strict vegan diet be careful and ask them to make sure you haven’t served anything else other than what you have ordered.
Another downside of the restaurant is that the buffet menu can become monotonous for frequent visitors. It would be great if they could change a couple of items on the menu from time to time to keep the experience fresh.
Overall, Indian Masala food restaurant in Promanaden Leipzig is a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The buffet-style service, friendly owner, and extensive menu make it a standout in the Leipzig food scene. Whether you're a seasoned Indian food lover or a first-timer, you won't be...

Name sake it is Indian restaurant but the food is not at all meeting Indian standards. The food is tasteless and in addition sweet. I guess no Indian ever cook such bad tasty food even with blind folded.
I took "all you can eat buffet" and you can find beauty in below paragraph
Rice : it is uncooked and very stiff texture Pakoda curry : Pakoda is uncooked and tastes like raw gram flour and the curry is sweet. Butter chicken : I guess they boiled chicken separately and added to some sweet soup instead of cook with masala. Palak chicken : same as above. Words are worthless Mango chicken : This is the craziest item. Beside the counter you can find Mango Lassi, I guess they added chicken to it and served as curry. Samosa : May be they should name it something else
Finally, you choose what ever the item and then you will never taste that in lifetime ever after...

We found waiters and staff totally uncultured and rude.
No point in argument so , I just paid and left.
The waiter should know how to talk to customers
We never had any issues while visiting any other Pakistani or Indian...
