I took a short 3 night stay in Athens in late March 2025. I stayed in the Monastriaki area which is close to the Acropolis and spent my days walking around the historic sights and ruins of this incredible city. It's well worth going at this time of year because it's not too busy at all and the weather wasn't too hot either. Also the prices are much more reasonable being out of peak season. The views of the Parthenon and surrounding ruins are amazing and so much is within walking distance. The Plaka district of the city was my favourite and had a nice feel to it. Much more of a traditional Greek feeling to it in my opinion. Would definitely go back for a longer stay as I didn't see all the sites that I would have...

Came here at around 8am! One of the best views of Athens by a country mile! Lovely peaceful walk up to the top, interesting little cut throughs, clear pathways and great for someone with vision impairment!

Coming from England, it was such a pleasure to not see empty cans or rubbish strewn in bushes!

Definitely worth the...
