Unacceptable

Disappointing, unwelcoming and annoyed waitress

Very small main dish at the price of proper main dishes in the area like RizaRiza or Roka

*Main course served in a desert plate

My friend had very high hopes given the interesting dishes in the online profile and the very high ratings but we were very very dispointed to feeling we wasted our time and were delivered bad experience!

**My orange juice was in a very small glass very warm

My main dish Ravioli with mushrooms judging from the price in the menu and the area

seemed like a proper main dish

but the seize of it was

very very disappointing.

My Greek friend noticed an unkind attitude and annoyance when I asked the question if the lemonade had already sugar in it, if the salute lemonade had a sugar in it and if the pink lemonade had sugar in it…

instead of taking lead and explaining what doesn’t and what is made with sugar she was annoyed ab my question which as a customer I have comeplete right to ask and not be made feel guilty ab wanting to know the ingredients for the product.

She should be helpful and thankful I express interest in home made lemonades and how they are made or help me choose a product to my liking by recommending one without sugar!

In any place I went to they offered to make me lemonade (lemon, lime with water) without sugar. HOW COMPLEX could it be?

It almost felt super pretentious that my friend wanted cold tea and I wanted lemonade or anything without sugar.

I also asked ab the ravioli - what kind of mushroom it is and she didn’t know.. but she didn’t admitted it or went to ask, just assumed and answered - the “common white mushroom”.

she was making a coffee for another customer then

*She wiped her hands into her jeans

and started slicing oranges for my juice, bare handed no washing between unnerving and making

There were unknown black spots in it The ravioli was delicious but GOD so small Defenately not a proper dish

We had to ask for extra water - she didn’t notice we didn’t have any left

At that SAME price you can get a PROPER mushroom and chicken and cream big plate DISH - all around: at Vanilla bistro, Riza Riza and Roka! All The Near by places, sorry guys it’s true. A whole proper dish for that price and not just a few ravioli in a tinny plate

Atmosphere We sat down. We were given 2 glasses of water without a bottle tho all the other tables (2 more tables) had water bottles and waitress waiting for us to tell her what we want. I asked for the menu!

Cleaning a dirty table without customers after that she came back to give us the menu. We liked the small shadow and she turned down the tent the sun lit us and we had to move to another table.

After 28 min of waiting to order without any water we moved to a table that was hiting (on the level of) my knees (wondering how would I eat with a table hiting my knees) seated on small square Woden boxe instead of a chair very u comfortable and uneven surface- I had to eat and was wondering how would that be possible ! I had to really bent my back to lower to reach my food and fork!

The right side of my body and our table was at the bottom level of her bar and her feet where the level of my table had the view and the sounds of her feet and the floor of the bar where she makes cofee and drinks. I could hear all the sounds and machine pressure and see her feet

On the way out she asked if we liked it I said ravioli are delicious but very very small they look like appetizer they are placed in a appetizer plate in a desert plate not in proper main dish plate …they are not in appetizers section and do not have the price of an appetizer

She just laughter

She did not...

This place is amazing! We stayed basically next door and lucked out. The owner is lovely and very knowledgeable about all food and drinks. Night staff are beautiful, we had a lady with very short blonde hair serve us and she was a ball of incredible energy compare to any other place in Athens she was a breath of fresh air and really made the experience. Food is legit! They do not have refrigeration so everything is fresh and on a 48hr rotation so you know it's fresh and delicious and very affordable. First place in Greece that knew how to make an Amaretto sour.... The best I've ever had! Unfortunately another girl on the AM staff shift with shaved hair served us lunchtime coffees and it was the worst coffee ever; burnt, cold and tried to charge us 4 euros each. The pottery cups from Istanbul are such a beautiful touch and if the owner makes you coffee you will not be disappointed, it was the best coffee we had in Greece just don't get anyone else to make your...

They open @9. We arrived @9:07 and they asked us to wait five minutes because they weren’t ready. Kids wanted pancakes but they said they only had one order of pancakes so I guess they’re not made fresh? The food was good. The portions are small for the price. My husband ordered a cappuccino and twenty minutes later it hadn’t arrived and I asked about it and the woman said “it’s coming..” with a face like we’d been impatient. Meanwhile, quite a few people were ordering coffees and getting theirs, and my husband’s was still not being made. By the time we finished our meal we went to go pay and she asked if we wanted his cappuccino to go. They still had not even made it. They did have...

Very nice, cozy coffee place, hidden in the small streets of Koukáki neighbourhood, just 1 min away from the crowded places of Acrópoli and Koukáki. Also seemed very good choice for a bite or even lunch. We tried the marple syrup pancakes, which were just perfect. Their piccetta was delicious, but maybe not the best I've had (the rucola served with it, I think was indeed the best one I've ever had). The menu had several choices for a light lunch or brunch. The cortado coffee was a very good choice too. Our dog enjoyed a very friendly welcome, being offered her own plastic bowl of water and many smiles and playing with the staff.
