During our visit to Athens, we decided to try one of the well-known street food spots and ordered a mixed plate for two. The dish included a hearty selection of gyros (both chicken and pork), sausage, souvlaki (grilled meat skewers), French fries, and tzatziki sauce. Read moreThis place lives up the hype! Pork gyro was outta this world and lamb was spot on with generous portions for each, but the service was equally as awesome which I want to rave about. Someone was there to send you to the right spot to give your order, give you recommendations on what was most popular and what meats were offered. Quick and efficient in getting orders and sending food out. Willing to bus the table for you after even though they don’t explicitly ask for tips. Most of all for me today when I asked for a to go wrapper bc I had a good amount of food leftover, the head chef not only boxed it up for me in a nice container with a rubber band but also gave me extra fries with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. It was an incredibly customer obsessed gesture which makes me want to come back...
