This place is unlike any other you’d find in the bustling streets of Plaka or the trendy hotspots. It doesn’t scream for attention, but it leaves an indelible mark on your culinary journey through Greece.
🌿 Atmosphere: Imagine stepping into a cozy nook—the kind you’d easily overlook. Soft sunlight filters through the vine-covered windows, casting gentle shadows on rustic wooden tables. The air carries the faint scent of herbs and sea breeze. It’s a place where time slows, and conversations flow freely.
👩🍳 Warmth of the Owners: The heart of this restaurant lies in its owners. They greet you like old friends, their smiles genuine and their hospitality unmatched. You’re not just a customer; you’re part of their extended family. They share stories of local traditions, secret recipes passed down generations, and the soul of Greek cuisine.
🍽️ Culinary Magic: Now, let’s talk about the food. Oh, the food! Each dish is a symphony of flavors—the freshest ingredients dancing on your taste buds. Picture plump tomatoes drizzled with golden olive oil, feta cheese that crumbles like poetry, and grilled octopus that transports you straight to the Aegean coast. And don’t get me started on the baklava—it’s a sweet revelation.
🌅 Unforgettable Moments: As you savor your meal, take in the surroundings. The sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow on the whitewashed walls. The sound of laughter mingles with bouzouki music, and you realize—you’re not just dining; you’re creating memories. This unassuming place becomes the highlight of your Greek adventure.
⭐ Rating: If I could, I’d give it 1000 stars. But since the earthly scale limits me, consider this my heartfelt recommendation. Seek out this hidden gem, dear traveler. Let its simplicity enchant you, and its flavors linger long after...
Read moreIt is a nice little taverna with large portions to fill your stomach with quality seafood.
If you have never been there, it is hidden from the main road, it is located in a small passage(we struggled just few minutes then we figured out how to go there, you will too).
I will give only 4 stars because they did not have the grilled squid or didn't have some options from the menu.
The server was an old gentleman who was very happy to serve us and was very nice.
Their portions are very large, I would advise to try their menu highlights like the variety of fried fish. We ordered that, one fish risotto, one seafood pasta, one plate of french fries (handcut, big portion and very yummyl) and a salad (which was wowowow SO BIG AND SO FLAVORFUL).
At the end, we didn't finish the food we ordered and they gently packed it and gave it to us. So nice !!! Amazing Customer service!
Overall, it was a nice experience will definitely come back with family when they will visit and with friends too.

Read moreThis restaurant is in a very modest location and atmosphere, but this is a gem that shines in goodness. We found it through Google map looking for restaurants around our hotel Moxy. We ordered Seafood pasta, fried calamari, fried smelt (small fish). The seafood pasta was so delicious it was better than 5 star restaurants I have eaten before. The calamari was delicious as expected and so was the small fish. The chef even though this was only a 3 man operation came out to chat with us and insisted that I should have white wine to enjoy with the pasta and gave us some on the house. We had to come back here a second night. We had the whole grilled Dorado fish and the grilled shrimp. We also ordered their fish stock soup. All were delicious. When I come back to Athens, this is the first place I am going to dine in at,...
