Stay away from the HESTIA network. When we booked the suite, we asked for 2 separate blankets (this is how we are used to sleep. The answer was - the number of blankets is equal to the number of beds - that is, one double bed means one blanket. The sequel was much worse. 6 hours before takeoff WIZZAIR canceled our flight to ATHENS. We approached Booking.com that turned us to the hotel in order to receive the refund. Despite several written and verbal requests, the answer was negative. We spoke with the network operation manager but she was not ready for a refund either. I suggested her to get a voucher but she refused. At last, I compromised on a 4-night voucher although we paid for 5 nights. She said she had to check with her colleagues and she will come back to us. Instead, we got an e-mail with the chain claimed that we had used the room we booked. Read moreI recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. The apartment itself was truly beautiful, very clean, and in a great location – all of which made my stay pleasant.
However, a couple of details left me disappointed. On the morning of my departure, I asked the lady who takes care of the apartments for a single coffee capsule, only to be told that coffee is not provided on the check-out date. I found this rather surprising and unwelcoming – such a small gesture could have made a big difference in the overall experience.
Additionally, the check-in and check-out times felt inconvenient, with check-in at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. More standard timings are usually 2 PM for check-in and 12 PM for check-out, which allow guests a little more comfort and flexibility.
All in all, the apartment itself was wonderful, but these service details could definitely be improved to make the stay more...

I called booking to see if I could cancel the various hotels for the rest of our stay (we normally had no right to a refund) and all the hotels understood the situation and therefore with deep kindness to refund. The only hotel hotel not to have accepted is this one. Our change of plane taking place 2 days later, booking tried to advance our 2 planned nights without success, we should have paid 2.5 the initial price.
