Rooms The rooms are adequate and they have a nice balcony. Its overlooking the road but if you look left you can see in the distance one of the temples. But the balcony is nice to sit out. The have a mini fridge and TV the usual stuff.
The WiFi isn't great, it might be 50/50 for streaming but you will be able to visit websites.
The shower is a bit annoying as it will give you cold water at times Sony have to mess with the switch to get the right pressure and temperature. Not terrible but you don't want to get splashed with cold water in the morning.
When we went there were these strange people (must have been young as in 18-20) and they were laughing loud in the corridors and running around... not sure they each had a room and they were "playing" in the corridor. They were doing that between 10pm to 2am some nights so be aware you can hear everything.
Breakfast Breakfast was alright, nothing special I'm afraid. If you are used to a big continental breakfast from other hotels you might be disappointed however its OK.
Maybe because there are alot of food places around the hotel that they don't focus on a full breakfast.
Location The location is excellent, its right next to everything. There are loads of restaurants you can visit and you can even walk to the Acorpolis from here. You can take public transport too but its actually easy to walk and you can get an ice cream on the way.
I would recommend this hotel based on location and just hope you don't get unruly guests.
Try and find a nice bakery or sandwich shop for breakfast. They have some lovely bakeries...
Read moreThe service was horrible. the staff weren't much of a help with anything. they were super rude!!! the hotel itself didn't have any water and when we asked to buy some, the receptionist made us go outside at 1am to go to a random shop. (keep in mind I am 16 years old!!!! no responsible adult should tell that to anyone)|next, the day that we were supposed to check out, we had to go to the pharmacy for an emergency, and when we asked the receptionist where the pharmacy was, he told me that he wouldn't tell me unless I bring my luggage out of my room. it was an emergency!!!! who would put someones life on risk over pettiness??!! this is the most unserious irresponsible staff I have ever seen. the rooms itself are spacious but something is wrong with the pipes and it makes a high pitched sound. it kept me up all night!!!! and the air conditioning kept Turing on itself all night. the beds were also really uncomfortable and the pillows were smelly and hairy, I don't understand how a person would sleep there. the whole place is unhygienic, there's dust everywhere and I mean everywhere!!! I couldn't use the teapot since it was full of dust. ||my final words are DO NOOT...
Read moreWe have stayed at Jason Inn for 4 nights during new years eve. They offered descent prices and rooms are clean and comfy. We needed room with 4 beds and they gave us a street facing room on the ground floor. I would prefer a higher floor but their big/family size rooms are all located only on the ground floor. Overall the street noise was minimal and it felt safe, plus we had a tile floor instead of carpet. The breakfast was ok nothing special, better than most US continental breakfasts but nothing to write home about. The hotel is on the outskirts of tourist area but it is safe and the restaurants and bars are 2 minutes away. Thissio station is 2 minutes away and Monastiraki 8 minutes away. It takes about 6 minutes to walk to Ancient Agora and about 15 to Acropolis. If you thinking about bringing a car make sure you opt for paid parking, I wouldn't try to park on the street. If you coming from the airport via train transfer at Monastiraki to a green line towards Pireas and get of at the next station Thissio, then short walk and you are there. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable with great location without high price. Btw the rooftop is not open during...
