This AirBnb is an actual hotel. The pool was great, the staff very friendly and helpful, and free breakfast. Need I say more? You are walking distance to several beaches. You can even walk over to Paradise beach somewhat easily if you are adventurous. (Here's a hint. Follow the boardwalk / shore line)
The one downside is terrible wifi. I don't mind slow esp on an island but the signal was super weak. That is a very easy problem to fix in 2018.
Everything was lovely but i want to leave a few tips for fellow travellers:
Tip 1: When you are leaving if you didn't rent a car then plan to order your taxi back to the port 2 - 3 hours ahead of time. Mykonos gets very busy and this location is "far" from Mykonos town and Mykonos port. If i were to stay here again i would rent a car. We had to walk down to the bar near the entrance and order a private taxi which is just a shuttle for the lower resort. 25 euros so it wasn't too bad.
Tip 2: Order your quad/ATV ahead of your trip. ATV / Quads sell out very easily. The AirBnB's partner rental place didn't have any quads left. My love of Mykonos is purely quad oriented so i was devastated to hear this. It is very difficult / expensive to get around this particular area without some kind of vehicle (20 euros to and from Paradise beach by taxi!) I called 8 other quad rental places and finally lucked out with Anemos Mykonos Rent a Car & Bike/ATV in Mykonos town. They had 2 quads for us. They picked us up and dropped us back off for free

Apparently, most of the food comes from the hotel's private garden, giving the impression that the kitchen is very dedicated on serving authentic, good food. To our surprise, the included breakfast was pretty underwhelming. The bread was mostly dry, there was no fruit, the cakes weren't particularly good, and the warm meals didn't taste much. We attempted to order some spaghetti bolognese for our son later in the day, but the spaghetti wasn't finished (not at all al dente), and hence didn't taste well. We don't recommend having lunch here, as it seems the cooking surprisingly isn't very good. Another problem was the awful Wi-Fi. The internet capacity clearly can't handle the size of the clientele, and streaming on iPads and the likes was at times impossible. We had a couple of rough nights due to loud fellow hotel guests, and the fact that the beds were pretty uncomfortable. The hotel seems popular among young people looking to party at the nearby beach clubs, and we believe this segment is best suited for this hotel. We were two adults and one teenager, and we stayed here for seven nights. We would recommend the hotel if you're not particularly worried about the food, beds and poor Wi-Fi, and if you've come to Mykonos to party. For a family holiday, we would recommend staying...
Read moreWe booked a room that looks very nice on the pictures, with blue curtains, white sheets, clear room... when we arrived at 7pm nobody welcomed us, they just sent us a message « you room is the second door before the steps to go to the smimming pool », ok so we thought that it will we easy to find it.. well no ! They have a lot of room, and we had to ask guests to help us, to enter in many rooms that were not ours! We find out a room that looks like the one we have booked, call the manager hotel and she said « no this is not yours ! » ..... we end it up in a room very old, with sea with but front of the parking, furniture was tagged, the bed very uncomfortable you can feel the spring, there is water everywhere when you shower, no water bottle offered and there is no shop near the hotel and A LOT OF MOSQUITOES !!! The breakfast is very poor quality, just some fried eggs, ham and cheese, toast and not fresh juice ... we could not even enjoy the pool because it closed around 7pm.... so when you spent the day visiting the town and came back to relax at the pool and it is closed......I could understand if the rental was cheap but we paid 180€ for a night for this ?? Come on ! Do you realize what is 200€ for a night ? You can have a nice boutique hotel in Paris, but a very bad quality room...
