Wonderful location, nice cove, helpful staff, poor management organisation. The music was blaring so loudly that you could barely have a conversation, we swam out to the buoys and could hear it pumping across the water. We moved away from the speaker but still, too loud to have a conversation between sun beds without almost shouting. The food was good though the salad had a hair in it, they quickly apologised and made a new dish no questions asked. That’s a bare minimum, to warrant the prices they charge they could have offered a free drink to apologise. The staff are super friendly and attentive however the management’s choice of division of tasks makes for a slow and frustrating experience. For example, only one host could take food/ drink orders and payments, we had to wait 12 minutes just to pay before leaving. And when asking to order a drink it is often ‘oh I’ll get my colleague’. The other hosts deliver orders and collect empties. The staff are very nice, the management needs to train them up to improve the customer experience to warrant the prices. €24 euros for a salad with prawns (5 prawns). Sushi was decent. We had two sun beds 2nd row then spent another €114 on food and drinks (no alcohol). For €190 euros all in given we are on Mykonos, it’s a bit steep when the subbed cost is not redeemable. But the music was the killer, it is possible to create an upbeat and fun environment with the right music at the right volume, the volume was way too loud for the afternoon. The staff are very friendly, but...
Read moreHopefully management uses this review to improve. On a positive note, the food and drinks are amazing. The vibe was good, but I suspect bad service is why this place is not more lively. I had to wait on many occasions to order a drink and when I did, it took forever. The staff is more busy conversing amongst themselves and not paying attention to their guest. I ordered a beer and they brought me a warm beer. Only when I complained to a manager did the service improve, but only when he would check on me. He did give me a free drink, which was appreciated. Then when leaving, it’s a long walk to the area to get a taxi, I asked for a buggy pickup and it took 20 minutes for me to get one. Then when at the hotel lobby you have to wait for a cab and that took a while. Hopefully they make...
Read moreIf you're starving and all restaurants are closed, and the last ferry out of the island has left, then eat one of the stray cats roaming around, but don't eat here. We ordered sushi, the avocados in the sushi were rock hard, I ended up taking the avocados out of the sushi. They placed some old stale bread on the table which we figured it was free so I didn't complaint. Little did I know that they sneaked that into our bill and they charged us 9 euros for the old nasty bread; which was probably old because they must've offered to another table that didn't eat it. They also charged us for the water, which has been free in every restaurant we've been to. We ended up paying 50euros for two bad sushi rolls, stale bread, and still water... Do not come to this place. Only bad...
