We really wanted to like this place. Let’s start with the good. It’s right in front of a lovely beach front. DJ played pretty good music even though no one was dancing. Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. We had a big group of 11 people and reserved two cabanas as well as had dinner reservations. The pool was not as clean as it should be. While we understand some things can’t be controlled, for how expensive this place was, there should be staff regularly cleaning it. The restrooms on one side were decent enough, but the restrooms in the opposite side near the restaurant were absolutely filthy and smelled rotten. Keep in mind, toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilets here so people have to throw it in the trash. This was fine and wouldn’t be an issue but of course, they did not seem to have any staff maintaining this restroom regularly which probably led to why it was dirty. There was a large dead cockroach and garbage that floated into the pool and seemed to remained there the entire time we were there. They seem to have plenty of staff to serve drinks at the pool areas as well as to performatively bring out food and cut up meats at the restaurant. I’m not sure why they don’t invest more staff to maintain cleanliness. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was unfortunately not consistent in good taste. The red meats were delicious as well as the pasta. However, the mussels came out with some cold, some warm. The chicken dishes were dry. So dry that one person in our group refused to finish and eat the dish after taking a couple of bites. She did give feedback and one server said they would take it off the bill, but we were still charged for that one dish. When we brought that to attention, another served told us that the chicken was already half eaten which wasn’t true and the fries that came with it weren’t even touched. We didn’t want to argue so we still paid in full and paid 10 percent tip on top of the hefty bill. For drinks and snacks at the cabana, this was a separate bill and we were told we would be charged 10 percent tip but they sneakily did 15 percent. When confronted, they said it was for the service which was mid at best. Not quite sure how the cabana side thought they deserved a higher tip than the restaurant side. We again tried to give feedback and shared how they could have improved but they didn’t seem to want to listen nor did they apologize for where they fell short. And honestly, for how expensive everything was, we expected better. If you are looking for a good beach club, you are better off picking elsewhere. There are plenty in Mykonos that are nicer with better service, better food, and more clean. Giving this place 3 stars is a bit more generous but it was what the...
Read moreDON’T GO. Horrible experience because of the atmosphere and the people there, so I would not recommend to anyone, ever. We went especially to see Black Coffee and his music was amazing as always. However, the overall club experience was extremely disappointing. We booked general access tickets and could not get anywhere near the stage with these tickets. The access near the stage was only permitted to VIP ticket holders which cost double the price. We bought the tickets online in advance and on their website there was no information about the type of access you have depending on the ticket; it should be clearly stated that the access near the stage is permitted only to VIP ticket holders, so then people know what to expect and what kind of ticket to buy. Otherwise you end up there and are restricted to staying on the side of the swimming pool, from where you cannot even see the stage and the DJ, where the music is not as loud and there is no atmosphere, barely anyone was dancing, not the same vibe. And there is no way to upgrade your ticket at that point once you are inside because all VIP tickets sell out well in advance. Plus, people in the club are extremely trashy, rude and dressed as if in the strip club, spilling their drinks on you and burning you with cigarettes. Access is permitted to anyone irrespective of their dress code or if they are too drunk or unable to even stand. I hope Black Coffee will not come back to play in Santanna next year because it is extremely low standard club and he should not lower himself to their level. Don’t go to Santanna and don’t bother going to Mykonos generally; in addition to being overpriced, this island has also turned into an extremely trashy place over the years, disappointing to see how it changed...
Read moreLoved this place!! My gfs and I came here recently for Sunday lunch at their restaurant and then reserved the pool boho lounge to hang out afterwards.
Restaurant (5/5 stars): The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and gives off cool beach vibes! Food was delicious—highly recommend the Smoked Octopus, Crispy Spider Crabs, Kani Sake Sushi Roll, Wagyu Beef Roll and Miso Black Cod! The Cacio e Pepe pasta was good too, a bit too cheesy for me—but for cheese lovers, they mix the pasta/sauce/cheese in an actual cheese wheel, so cool! Cocktails were tasty, and service was great. For dessert, we ordered the Santanna’s Secret—a chef came out with chocolate, sauces, fruits and nuts and did a creative performance of the food to present to us as our dessert, very interesting and unique.
Pool/beach area (4/5 stars): The pool hobo lounge was okay—it was extremely windy and chilly we didn’t feel it was warm enough to go in the water. Staff came around to give us towels for warmth—I do wish they tell you ahead of time about the windy weather. You can walk to the beach area which is less windy, and the water is beautiful. Probably since this was off-season, the whole place didn’t feel like a beach club with loud music and partying—more like a chill beach vibe, which we preferred. Another perk is that they have a small massage area by the beach, enough for a few people at a time and prices were reasonable! Saw the hookah prices for the lounge and they were outrageous—starting at 95 euros for the simple flavors and 120 euros for the cocktail flavors. Cocktails are expensive too, starting about 20-24...
