Ήμουν μικρή όταν επισκέφθηκα τον Ναό. Εκεί άκουσα για πρώτη φορά την σοπράνο Κικίτσα Αγιακάτσικα - Δημητράκη να τραγουδάει το Άβε Μαρία με την συνοδεία του Εκκλησιαστικού Οργάνου. Μαγεύτηκα! Θα ήθελα να μπορούσα να το ζήσω ξανά. Έχει πολύ καλή ακουστική και χρησιμοποιείται για συναυλίες κλασικής μουσικής. Ο ναός, είναι ευρύχωρος με 250 θεσεις. Σχεδιάστηκε από τον Α. Bernabiti και ηταν η εκκλησία της ενορίας των Φραγκισκανών στη Ρόδο κατά την Ιταλική κατοχή. Σήμερα είναι ο επίσημος ναός της λατινικής εκκλησίας της Ρόδου. Τις Κυριακές και τις γιορτές η Θεία Λειτουργία διεξάγεται στα ελληνικά. Οι πιστοί μπορούν να παρακολουθήσουν τη Λειτουργία στην μητρική τους γλώσσα μέσω φυλλαδίων με τους ψαλμούς μεταφρασμένους σε δώδεκα διαφορετικές γλώσσες.

Piękna katedra z początków XX wieku, należąca do kościoła rzymskokatolickiego. Znajduje się w pobliżu Bramy Atanazego, prowadzącej do Starego Miasta Rodos. W kościele odbywają się msze św. w niedziele i święta, a ponadto dwa razy do roku koncerty organowe, gdyż kościół ma wspaniałą akustykę. Obok kościoła znajdują się biura parafialne, zakrystia i biblioteka. Z boku kościoła stoi żelazny posąg świętego Franciszka. Warty odwiedzenia.

Msza święta w niedzielę o godzinie 10. Msza w języku greckim, kazanie w sezonie wakacyjnym w języku angielskim. Panie (sic) ze służby liturgicznej w sierpniu 2021 dokladnie pilnowały pandemicznych zaleceń - maseczki, dezynfekcja dłoni, liczba wiernych. Kościół XX wieczny ale kilkadziesiąt m od starego miasta. Ciekawa architektura i wnętrze.

Chiesa cattolica a Rodi, isola, come tutta la Grecia, di religione ortodossa. Se pensiamo che a pochi chilometri c'è la Turchia, e quindi l'Islam, la Cattedrale di S.Francesco è una vera e propria chiesa di frontiera.

The St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral also called Catholic Cathedral of Rhodes, is a Roman Catholic church located in the city of Rhodes, Greece, near the gate of St. Athanasius, between the two districts Acandia and St. John. The church is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Rhodes.
