Mythos — Attraction in Municipality of Thira

Under-rated... it's a great restaurant, with great food, great ambient and the super friendly owner.

Myself, my wife and my son were in Kamari beach for vacation. We were walking around, looking for restaurants, their menus and their ratings. Interestly we didn't find Mythos in the Google Maps reviews and also in Trip Advisor when we searched for a restaurant. But thankfully the owner saw we were looking for restaurant and kindly approach to us and proposed we tried their food.

We decided to give it a try, the price was very competitive and the menu had exactly what we wanted, seafood and pasta.

It was a great experience, the food was as great as the owner told us, he also offered myself and my wife a glass of vine in appreciation of our gesture to believe in him and give it a try.

Compared to the rest of the restaurants, the range is economical, but not as high quality. First mistake, the manager brought a large beer while I told her three times to bring a small one. The food is nothing special, the shrimp pasta had no taste at all and the greek salad had a sample of feta cheese and no salt. The only thing worth it was the mussels saganaki which had fresh mussels. The lady who is the owner and manager seems in her own world.We told her to bring the bill she forgot it even though we were only two/three tables But the biggest fault was by the waiter. Thomas is the very best!!!! He is so sweet and helpful. We where lucky enough to find this place as we walked around our first night. The food is very good the muscles in red sauce where out of this world!! All of it was amazing!!!!!! If you want to lay out during the day they have amazing little set up with umbrellas and chairs to lay and relax where they bring you drinks. It is so wonderful.
