Today, we took the Big Bus Tours Hop-on Hop-off Red Line with a group of 7. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I've had. The audio guide in German was absolutely dreadful—the speed of the narration was nearly twice as fast as normal speech, making it almost impossible to follow. To make matters worse, the tour itself was poorly organized and gave very little useful information about the sights. At 38€, it felt like a total rip-off; honestly, the experience wasn’t even worth 10€.
Adding to the disappointment was the unfriendly staff, who were by far the least welcoming I encountered during my trip. The most rude of all was a young, attractive blonde woman who seemed completely out of place in customer service—she really gave the impression she didn’t want to be there. The route itself wasn’t terrible, but the audio guide was absolutely useless—definitely not something you'd want if you're hoping to learn more about...

The trip is actually identical to the one hour trips around, but the paddle steamer simply cruises at half the speed. This gives passengers plenty of opportunity to snap all the gorgeous buildings on both banks of the river.
The entertainment on board is simple yet effectively produced to make it an evening to remember. The food was very nice and typically Hungarian fayre. Bar prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent.

We chose the 4 course meal although a 12 course version is also available. Overall decent value for money and a must do to cross off on your...
Read moreWe took the last slot of the evening from Pier 0 - The boat was very comfortable and sported modern decor inside. There was bottomless prosecco on offer, non-alcoholic drinks & some food which wasn't covered in the ticket price. The views and infomation about the sights along the Danube was interesting, we were also treated to a great music playlist which kept the mood fun. The whole thing lasted around 90 minutes. The only downsides are you are swarmed with scam taxi's on exiting the boat and if you've been aboard with people who can't handle their drink you'll likely be seeing people throwing up and stumbling around drunk as a skunk which can put a bit of a...
