Okay, I would probably consider myself unlucky, as I booked a day before for a massage when I was told visiting SPA will be free of charge for 3 hours. I had only one slot which was at 9:15am. I made all the necessary arrangements to ensure I arrive 20 min earlier, when suddenly received a call from the receptionist at 8:30am apologizing that they have issues with the water supply so I won't be able to use SPA as the showers and toilets weren't functioning. I asked what else I would be offered and was kindly advised only sauna and the tea room (free tea, water, fruits and biscuits - not sure the last ones were healthy option).
With regards to experience. The massage was great, therapist is highly experienced and was able to make so-claimed "rejuvenation". Unfortunately, the enjoyment has ended by then. The tea room was nice but I was only able to observe the SPA. The overall place is fairly small, so I would not call it to be good for the groups. Saunas are fairly ordinary, I did not use because I could not take a cold water's shower afterwards, there was no any temporary solution whatsoever. After having some water and a cup of tea with banana and apple, I realised that saying any longer would not be possible as the toilet were not functioning either.
Would I come back? Possibly. They gave me 20% discount, so that helps. However, I was little confused why an alternative date was not given as an option. Assuming, perhaps everything has been booked up but that would be a great element to have a part of the discussion, so I'm able to make a solid opinion...
Read moreWe had booked 2 - 75 minute Queen massages. First, it had a very small space with a two-person jacuzzi and a two-person sauna, which we were completely overwhelmed by. The jacuzzi water was dirty and there were no towels in the sauna area! The tea house part is located in the entrance price of the jacuzzi and sauna, which is very suffocating and oxygen-free. We had an appointment with two female masseurs, and when the massage time was over, a lady and a gentleman came, and I requested that both of them be ladies. And after 10 minutes, another lady came and introduced herself as a masseuse. From the beginning of the massage, I realized that she is not a masseur. Her hands were rough and behaved completely clumsily. And she finished my massage in 60 minutes not 75!!! To such an extent that after the massage, I not only didn't feel good, but also nervous, disturbed and in pain. Especially neck pain. And when I told it to the reception, because they knew that they had sent me a lady cleaner instead of Masur, they said that they would give a discount and charge half the price. And then I saw the person who massaged me changing the towels! I was really sorry. Absolutely...
Read moreNot a great experience. The only redeeming feature was that me and my partner got to experience the spa alone, as weirdly, there was no one else there. The woman on reception was hilariously rude, the products felt cheap, no one gave us info on the saunas or services and we booked a ‘couples massage’ but received individual treatments without being told. My partners posture realignment massage was INCREDIBLE apparently (from an independent therapist and why I give it 2 stars instead of 1) but sadly the massage I had was like being basted in oil, but not in a fun way… The therapist seemed very nice but she used the same strokes on my back for what felt like eternity. Same place, same pressure, same motion. Like stroking an animal. For an hour. The 2 minutes of oily face stroking at the end was the best bit. Do not tell them that your star sign is an Air Element or this is what you may receive. It’s such a shame as it was quite a lot of money and my partner booked it for a really...
