Maverick Pub — Local services in Budapest

Awesome pub just next to our Airbnb in Budapest.

The night we arrived, we were looking for authentic food. And found the Maverick pub.

We were totally happy with the quality of food and drinks served to us. What more do you want when you are traveling to a new country, new place !

We ordered portions of Burritos & veg quessadillas. And Dreher beer from the tap.

Authentic Mexican food they serve and great beer.

Hospitality & ambience is superb 🤩

We arrived at 10:00 for breakfast. No orange juice anymore, 2 super hard breadrolls no eggs no bacon, 1 or 2 croissants, 2 pieces of cheese. The person at the kitchen was cooking bacon and asked us to come back for the eggs so we couldn't eat bacon and egg together. All during our stay around 1 hour, the orange juice was not refilled even after we asked, same with bread! We were told breakfast buffet is 2000HUF but were actually charged 8000HUF, food is mostly empty, no full english breakfast as advertised on the first fotos. Kitchen staff is eating and coughin on the food while preparing. Pancake mix in the pancake machine was empty and not refilled. Reception/bar staff is friendly but way in over their heads. Would avoid, especially if your not staying there directly and speak anything...
