On my visit to Reykjavik I saw this monument from afar and it looks very interesting since I love history and monuments i had to visit .
The way there isn't very clear and ended up on the wrong path 2 times because I didn't check on the GPS and ended up on the wrong side of the port ,but then I found the right path and finally found it !
It's mesmerizing for its shape and even more for the small cabin on top with dried codfish ( don't worry it does not smell)
This mound is a art piece from a artist called "Ólöf Nordal" it's a creation with serenity and meditation in mind .
This monument can been seen from the boat art piece is located .
Access to wheelchairs is easy around the mound only ,going up is partially impossible ,a out parking space I'm not sure because I haven't seen any...

Truthfully, it didn't thrill me, but I don't want to disrespect this site with fewer stars, as it references a piece of Iceland's beautiful history and culture. If you are pressed for time, don't feel bad about skipping it. If you have time, I'm sure you will enjoy it. I'm glad I went.
P.S. I feel like Þúfa is particularly well-suited for families, as it's free, gives a glimpse of Icelandic culture without being a museum, and children will burn off energy walking down to the site /...
