I got a transfer from Grandi CentralHotels (Stop 15) this morning to KEF Airport with, Flybus Plus - Hotel to Airport. The Bus from Stop 15 was late.

When arriving at BSI. The staff had 53 people shoved onto one bus then put like 10 people on the second Bus. I don’t think 52 people on the first bus with luggage was safe. The weight ratio was too much to ensure the safety of the bus.

There was no tolerance for error. It was also not comfortable. It’s going to take longer to get to the airport because the bus driver has to drive really slow so the bus doesn’t flip over!

The staff of the second bus was just standing around. I asked, IGA (Fly Bus), what’s the plan this is inefficient. Why wouldn’t the buses be loading at the same time? She stated, “I’m doing my job, and ignored me. The bus driver when putting my bag aboard ignored me.

When getting a transfer from the Airport it’s no problem. The staff is polite, consistent, and professional.

It’s seems with the culture it’s relaxed until you ask questions. If it doesn’t make sense or something goes wrong the culture gets really stubborn even if it doesn’t make sense or what’s happening isn’t aligned with the business plan/mission.

I have noticed this in Scandinavian/Nordic Culture!

BeWare of how many people are on the Bus to the AirPort! If they’re more than 40 I wouldn’t get in the bus...

Very helpful;friendly and courteous staff;most helpful in regards to finding local place selling straeto bus tickets back to Keflavik International Airport. Also attendant at cafe very friendly and helpful.Nice warm place out of the rain and cold. Many free helpful local leaflets and guides in display units.Free water fountain to fill up your water bottles and due to fault with fee mechanism for toilets;able thankfully to use for free on Sunday 1st Dec 19.However normal toilet fee is 200 Icelandic Krona;having said that;toilet facilities clean and modern.Terminal is open from 4am to 11pm;mainly dealing with excellent excursions around Iceland.I personally used as stop off point when I got off the Straeto bus from Keflavik International Airport out on the main road bus stop near BSI prior to walking around Reykjavic in the early to late evening and again later in the evening prior to getting one of the last connecting buses back to the airport. So thankful the place was open at 10pm on Sunday evening.Very helpful lady at Reykjavic Excursions Desk in helping advise on getting No.1 bus to Fjordor and then last No.55 bus from Fjordor back to Keflavik Airport at 23:53 on Sunday night. Thanks very much;loved the excellent experience and help;you are all a wonderful credit to representing the country of Iceland really well.Look forward to being back...

For Reykjavik Excursions Golden Circle Tour plus the Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon option, after the Golden Circle tour ends and everyone else is dropped off at their bus stops, you are brought back here to BSI Bus Terminal where about 30 minutes later, you catch a bus to the lagoon on the opposite side of the terminal where you were dropped off.

The BSI Terminal was clean and had some tourists waiting for their connections. There was a Sbarro pizza place for food/drinks, free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms cost 200 kroner that you paid via credit card. The ticket counter was staffed, and the Golden Circle bus driver said to go the counter to ask for the Sky Lagoon bus schedule which I posted as a picture. There was a bus every half an hour such as 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm. The buses leave for Sky Lagoon at top of the hour from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm and it was about 15 minutes to get there. Coming back, you can tell the driver what bus stop to drop you off.

The BSI bus terminal is located a little past the end of Tjörnin lake (the one with swans and geese and by City Hall), about a 13...
