I tolerate a lot of bad experiences and always look for the good and give good reviews but Forest Essentials has let me down. As a loyal customer of FE, I was utterly disappointed during my last visit to the branch on 100ft road, Indiranagar on Jul 31, 2025. I was sold the 'fastest selling' Soundarya Luminous Beauty Oil. After reaching home, I noticed the product was dated Sep 2024 so I went back the next day to exchange it to a more recent date and was told by the staff that the product was 'discontinued' so all the dates will be from 2024 and since Indiranagar was the warehouse, I wouldn't find recent dates at any stores. I was traveling the next day and to my surprise, the store at T2 airport was carrying July 2025 product. I emailed customer service who did not acknowledge nor apologize for the lies that were told to me by the staff. Rather, the customer service insisted that even though the product had less than 50% shelf life, it was ok to use. I'm very upset that a huge brand is fine with selling old products and lying about it too. I will be back in India in Dec 2025 and requested a exchange (not refund) of the product, and was denied. Forest Essentials, you've lost a loyal customer and will lose many more if you don't improve your customer service. She is full of patience and has answers to almost all of our questions. She is running this store like a family taking everyone along. The store is very clean-thanks to Gladson…the whole shop is ever spick and span. Gayatri also has very good knowledge and shows a lot of patience.
