If you are looking for a nice place to shop for ladies ethnic bags, tops, pants, jewelleries, trinkets, scarves, crafts, souvenirs, gifts.. basically a one stop shop in Kolkata then head to this place located on Sudder St. The first time you are there you might miss it as it is at the end of a driveway ... the leftmost shop. The shop is run by two friendly brothers who will make you feel most comfortable. You can just settle down on the floor and they will show you all that you need in all colors and sizes. The shop may look small but the amount of stock they have is unbelievable. They will offer you tea from the tea stall right outside their shop. The wares are dirt cheap. It's a paradise for backpackers & foreign volunteers visiting Kolkata. A great place to buy gifts and carry back some memories of India.

The shop is in a lane off the main road. It is accessible by auto rickshaws, taxis, Uber cabs. The closest landmark is the Fire station on Free School St. Sudder St. is the lane right opposite the Fire station and Sunshine Store is just 100 yards into the lane on your right side.
