Place is located just outside the main town, a bit of walk and small hike. Entrance is free. Mainly contemporary art but we were there for the work of Jack Butler Yeats. Other than a gallery, there's a nice cafe and lounge for resting. Good place to stop for a quick rest while going around Sligo

Brilliant contemporary art gallery in Sligo, that's free to visit. It houses the Niland collection, which focuses on the artist Jack B Yeats. The gallery has art exhibitions, performing art events and talks throughout the year. There's cafe, cinema and a shop in the building.
