Maeves Bar — Restaurant in County Sligo

Came here today with my partner ordered food and cocktail called “out of this world” extremely disappointed with our second experience here, this cocktail when first time we came here look like the right picture, big glass nice colour and garnishes, but the picture on the left what came to us today, trying to ask to waitress what is happening she said the glass in the menu just look bigger but they are actually the same size and we saw other people ordering the same which exactly how it looks like on the menu (which obviously the glass size is bigger) we try to ask for explanation again the waitress then talked to her manager but the manager didn’t even bother to come to us to explain what happen, the waitress then come to us again and said the alcohol in my glass is still the same amount as the other glass (so it means the other ingredients isnt the same amount which makes the cocktail taste not as its standard???))) I was really looking forward to drink this because last time i was really happy with my cocktail today we’re so extremely disappointed, the waitresses and bartender constantly chatting,Gossiping,giggling, leaning on the bar with their back side towards us, we aren’t even trying to make people lose their job but it is a company responsible to give these people proper...

Update: Returned on a relatively quiet evening. I ordered a cocktail, paid for it and the man behind the bar explained I had to wait for the person who makes cocktails to return. She did return after 15 minutes and then proceeded to take the orders and serve atleast 10 people after me. Then proceeded to cough into her hands and dissappear (which I hope was to wash her hands) for an additional 5 minutes. Once she returned again, I seen the first bartender ask her could she make my cocktail as he has seen me waiting now for half an hour. She finally did and I felt uncomfortable as she was using her hands to grab the garnish for on top knowing she was just coughing into her hands prior to that. Finally recieved my drink which had 2 hairs stuck in it. I was fed up at that stage and didn't even want the cocktail after all of that, so my partner headed in to ask for a new drink. All in all, I waited 40-45 minutes for one drink although there were no orders...

"Award winning cocktail bar"? Well we wouldn't know. Me and two friends who were visiting from Northern Ireland went in as it was recommended to us. We were looking to get a cocktail and we had ordered our cocktails via the QR code on the table and had paid. A few minutes later one of the members of staff came over to check our IDs. Fair enough, we do look quite young. We handed them our UK drivers licences as we are from Northern Ireland and this is the only form of ID we had with us. We were refused service as they were "not valid forms of ID". They quickly went to refund us and practically threw the money on the table and walked off before we even had a chance to query it. We left straight away but looking back we should have stopped and complained. Apparently tourists or anyone who is not local or does not have an Irish form of ID is not welcome. So if you want to have a drink here you might want to book a driving test in...
