To celebrate Valentines in Hamptons was the best choice for myself and my girlfriend. From opening the front door you were stepping into a world of fine dining, impeccable customer service and a wonderful atmosphere of warmth and comfort.
Greeted by Kuba, the restaurant manager with a quick witty sense of humor made both of us extremely comfortable, sat down by the pass in view of the chefs working tirelessly to make sure every single dish was presented to the highest standard.
Our waitress Dania was absolutely wonderful, very soft spoken girl made sure to consistently check on us for drinks or food.
On the pass we were met with Luke who was absolutely on point with his Duty of running the pass, never succumbing to the pressure. Luke took over for Dania as she retired from her duty on the floor, informed us extremely politely that Luke would resume or service, he even stayed on an extra hour to ensure we were looked after… that is Hospitality!
The food? THE FOOD!!! The food was on point, so much so that it gave a Vegetarian an appetite. Absolutely stunning presentation, taste and smell. The view of the pass added to our experience.
While waiting for my girlfriend to gather her belongings i went up to the bar to chat with the boys. Never met such a well tight bonded team behind the bar. The drinks were absolutely spectacular, even had the boys give me some advice on their expert knowledge of combinations of different cocktails. Goes to show that the Bartenders are experienced mixologists! Thanks to Davide & Desire!!! One negative thing about the drinks was the pint of Guinness, i was informed that they got all their pints from the Savoy bar… besides that hiccup all the positives outshined the negative.
Every single staff member in the restaurant was happy, well in tune and on point with answers to every single question! It was an excellent experience for us to have a break away from reality, i would highly recommend Hamptons.
You can tell that the managers & supervisors set an example for the staff, training, not afraid to work with the troops… even witnessed the management team cleaning a slight mess on the floor together. Other places you’d see a poor part time worker doing that! You can tell the restaurant staff are inspired from the top That’s the sign of a fantastic institution.
Thank you to the Hamptons staff for making our evening very special! 10/10 would recommend to a...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this restaurant. My wife and I had lunch here, my wife had fish and chips I had the so called fall off the bone spare ribs. By wife found the fish very greasy and she couldn’t finish it, but I think the main reason she didn’t finish it is because of me. I tried the spare rib that were actually very tough and only for the bbq sauce, they were tasteless, on my second or third taste felt a sharp object in my throat, it was a piece of bone, I started choking and had to drink the bottle of water that was left at our table, three members of staff were less that 15 feet from me at the counter and saw that I was in trouble. The looked at me while I was still choking and did nothing . they didn’t even ask it I needed help, after about 10-minutes of choking the piece of bone moved and I was able to relax a bit, I also wasn’t able to finish my meal, but to be honest before we got ready to leave the head waiter that also saw me choking from the food did come to our table and said that we could pay at the counter on our way our. In my opinion the spare ribs were cover with bbq sauce and put into the over for a few minutes and served, they most certainly were not prepared and the membrane was still left on, if the chef bothered to remove the membrane he would have spotted the piece is bone that nearly choked me. A bit of advice for the chef it takes 5 hours of cooking to have the ribs fall off the bone not the few minutes that you gave them. I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone, and also the head waiter would need to go and learn some manners. He was very arrogant from the start. I certainly will never come back to the Hampton again. The bone stayed in my throat all day. I was okay the...
Read moreTerrible. Went in for my girlfriend's birthday with all her family and my girlfriend ordered their chicken from the ala carte menu. They brought out GONE OFF chicken. My girlfriend did not think anything off it as she thought the smell was coming off from the sauce. When I tasted the chicken I knew straight away that the chicken was gone off as it had a very foul gone off smell. Her uncle is a chef and also knew straight away. We brought it to the supervisors attention and he smelled it and said it did not smell good either. We were very upset as my girlfriend had eaten a bit of the chicken and gotten sick in the toilet. The supervisor came back and said that the chef said that it was the grill and the chicken was fine and that the smell was from the back bone of the chicken. How ridiculous is that?? We had asked for the manager and manager was nowhere to be seen, no one took accountability for the gone off chicken.
Also, some of us ordered from the 3 course menu and we decided not to go get dessert as we were all turned off from the chicken. The supervisor charged us for the appetiser and main course individually and not the 3 course price. When we went up and said that we should only be charged the 40€ 3 course menu. He had rejected this and said it was because we did not get dessert, so he charged us more. So at the end we ordered the dessert for takeaway just to avail of the 40€ 3 course price. It was just an awful experience all together. It was some family members first time and they said they will never come back, it's just a shame as we always came to the Hamptons for food and the service we got that day was just not great. 15 customers Won't...
