In Jerusalem city center, one walks through a door and one is magically transported from the sticky levant to a Russian-slavic courtyard. Well maintained and beautiful with a lovely coffee shop and buildings that were lovingly refurbished to former glory of the 19th century when Russian pilgrims filled the streets of Jerusalem. A great way to relax.

The Church is amazing itself. The shop inside offers a great variety of books, symbols and souvenirs which, I believe, are being so expected by friends and relatives at home.
