The plot is described to you beforehand in English, so you can allow yourself to sink into the puppetry’s absorbing entertainment, full of a warrior’s engagements, heroism, brutality, magic, romance….and all peppered with deliciously child-like humour . This is a must see if you are interested in cultural history. It’s clearly a dying craft. It is three men, one organ grinder, two puppet masters. They sing, speak, play instruments and of course work puppets. It’s mad a tad insensitive in story line for the modern ear but magnificent too.
