UCI Cinemas Porta di Roma — Attraction in Rome

I recently visited UCI Cinema in Rome, and I must say that my movie-going experience was absolutely fantastic. UCI Cinema has truly stepped up its game by introducing English language showings, which was a delightful surprise for someone like me who prefers watching movies in English.

In the past, finding English language screenings in Rome could be quite challenging. However, UCI Cinema has recognized the growing demand and now offers English functions, making it much more accessible for international visitors and English-speaking residents alike.

I'm sorry to rate the cinema 1 star. The truth is that I love the environment. A bit pricey. The reason why I downvoted that much is the food. As a regular visitor, I frequent this cinema about once per month. I usually buy some candies or packaged chips. I bought three times unpackaged food (nachos, hotdogs, etc.). I felt sick the first two times. The last time, I threw up as soon as I got home and spent the next day rushing to the bathroom. And the food is NOT CHEAP at all. Sincerely, paying a high-quality food price for wasted food that intoxicates me is a fraud, at least.

That's why I can't give more than a star, even though everything beyond the food is nice.

Ho ragionato molto a lungo prima di fare la recensione. Mi ritrovo a dare solo due stelle perché purtroppo l'attenzione ai clienti con una mobilità ridotta si è rivelata molto bassa. Lo scorso inverno a causa di un grave incidente ho portato le stampelle per vari mesi e avevo deciso di fare un ritorno alla normalità andando al cinema del centro commerciale: posti dove sedersi nel cc, ascensori, etc. Nel cinema, per arrivare alla sala, avevo bisogno dell'ascensore perché impossibilitata a prendere le scale mobili. Ho aspettato più di un quarto d'ora in piedi (anzi, sulle stampelle e un piede solo) che arrivasse un responsabile ad aprirmi l'ascensore: ma io dico, sai che c'è una ragazza disabile e tu arrivi dopo quasi 20 minuti? Bah. Ancora peggio, finito il film era orario di chiusura anche per il centro commerciale. Usciti dalla sala, scopriamo che l'uscita che dava sui negozi era chiusa e che si poteva uscire solo sull'esterno. Andiamo fuori e scopriamo che fuori non ci sono ascensori, solo una scala mobile molto veloce (impossibile da usare per una persona che ha a disposizione un piede e due stampelle) e una rampa di scale lunghissima. Abbiamo provato a tornare dentro il cinema per chiedere aiuto a qualche addetto, ma non c'era assolutamente nessuno. Finale della storia: ho preferito passare mezz'ora sulla rampa di scale e farmela a modo mio, aiutata, piuttosto che rischiare di volare giù per le scale mobili. Questo perché nessuno ha avuto la premura di ricordare che nel cinema era presente una persona con ridotta mobilità che necessitava dell'ascensore. Peccato, perché per il resto è...
