I purchased all my essential electronics from MediaWorld when I moved here, as Iâm not a local and donât speak Italian. From the start, the staff was helpful and spoke English, making it easy for me to buy everything I neededâmy TV, washing machine, iron, and more. Everything went smoothly except for the TV, which took an unbelievable two months to arrive.
Once I finally received and set it up in my new home, I was assured that I had 14 days to return or exchange any item if needed. Unfortunately, the TV had a sound issue, where it wouldnât play audio at a high volume. I returned to MediaWorld within the promised 14-day period, expecting the same helpful service I initially received.
However, to my surprise, the same employees who had previously assisted me in English suddenly âcouldnât speak Englishâ and refused to help. Instead, they told me to contact Samsung customer care, completely disregarding their initial promise.

It was super sketchy because the laptop acted as if it was a decade old and the windows system was a mix of Italian and English. I had to ask for a refund after 3 days. Most of the people didn't know how to explain the situation in English so I actually glad I understood some of the words they said in Italian. It took a whole hour to do a refund but I won't complain much about that because they only had one girl at service and they were busy as heck. Not to mention that when I bought the pc I waited 3 hours for it to be ready, so my weekly amount of patience kinda ran out at Mediaworld. Either way, they have nice stuff and staff, just make sure to never buy the exhibition products, there's always something...
