I showed staff here I was allergic to nuts and they all assured me that the ice cream I wanted had none, three people assured me.

After getting the ice cream the staff were laughing, of course after I had just one bite of the ice cream I had a reaction, based on everything we think they intentionally did this based on their laughing and mannerisms.

The nuts were not cross contamination they were part of the ice cream mix no excuse. This place should be shut down

Response to owner: what a ridiculous lie and dangerous, it is one thing to cover it up but to lie that this flavor does not have nuts is dangerous as someone with the allergy could read it. Let me warn anybody with an allergy that yes the tiramisu flavor does have nuts inside of it, just one bite of pure ice cream gave me a severe reaction and my condition is mild, I’ve eaten around nuts and have had less of a reaction this was not not a cross contamination issue. My husband is allergic to nuts and sometimes it ruins our trip because people don’t speak proper English and that causes misunderstanding. This time we used phone translator and wrote that he is allergic to nuts and asked if tiramisu ice cream has nuts. 3 workers shook their heads and said there were no nuts. When they gave him the ice cream they started smiling and laughing!!!??? Of course after time my husband felt sick and we had to go back to the hotel!

One of the best ice cream shops in Sicily! Very nicely decorated with an old classic artisan gelateria vibe, indoor and outdoor seating areas. Wide variety of flavours in ice cream as well as granite choices! Tried de pistachio and cannoli which were splendid, creamy with crunchy bits and full of flavour. The granite of pistachio and mandarin was delightful and very refreshing, can hardly argue their claim of natural and local produce.
