This is the indoor more than 600 m long shopping street connected between Tenjin and Tenjin minami subway stops with more than 100 shops , I guess. Both sides of this street are covered by department stores. If you donot have something to do, this would be a perfect place to spend your time. For people who transfer the subway here, you have 120 min to walk from one side to another side to catch the next train. It means you have a plenty of time to buy or catch something. Please beware massive waves of people in afternoon and evening. You may lost your way in this place. 😆😆😆😆😆

One of the most astoundingly impressive features of Tenjin was its underground shopping streets, aka 天神地下街．It's HUGE. It's likely you could spend the whole day or afternoon strolling around here without feeling bored. It could be overcrowded at times, though. It's especially highly recommended during rainy days. The management of the underground streets were very attentive to shoppers' needs, therefore you'd find adequate rest rooms and free Wi-Fi bandwidth.

Tenjin Underground Mall is a very organized mall and it is interconnected to bus terminals and other departmental stores. The underground mall can be very crowded and busy, especially during peak hours. The design of the underground mall is straightforward with very long corridors and there are many shops but the majority are for ladies’ wear. Some of the shops have beautiful and quality clothing but the prices can be steeped.

I love underground city, a lot. I've been there since my childhood. It's connected to almost every cool spot through the underground mall and convenient. Such a beautiful spot, too. I've taken each friend from all over the world there. :) and of course, since I live in Fukuoka, Japan, I visit there very often and walk through there. it is connected to the subway lines/stations too.

i like this underground shopping :). actually quite bore with those usual shopping mall. this underground shopping mall is a long tunnel full of stores on left and right and on the other side. also have some branded stores here. each stores is quite big, similar like inside the mall, also have full aircon. we found a restroom with bookselves as it's decor..cute🥰.

A really nicely laid out underground shopping mall. The most fantastic thing about this place isn't the shops but the ultra fast free Wi-Fi. Take a break at a cafe here n surf to your heart's content. This place is locked during the night but open early morning as a passage way to get to the train station. Beats lugging luggage on the road to get to the station.
