Kiwamiya Fukuoka Parco Store — Restaurant in Fukuoka

The first (and possibly the best) halal hamburg steak you can get in Fukuoka. This branch in particular has long waiting lines as the restaurant is quite small, with customers sitting back to back - but personally I think it was worth the 40 minutes wait. There's not a lot of places where you can get halal hamburg steak in Japan, and the one here is actually cheaper than the Tokyo branch. You don't have to worry about cross-contamination as well as they prepare food separately (which they explain at the back of the menu). The menu itself in this branch isn't that extensive, just 150g of hamburg steak that you can purchase as a set that comes with unlimited rice, miso soup and salad, or you can buy either of them ala-carte.

It's a cool experience grilling the hamburg steak on the stone, but if you're a slow eater the stone will lose heat and won't char your meat nicely. Highly recommend the BBQ sauce that comes with the steak, but it's honestly tasty...

The store is super popular, especially among Korean tourists which are the majority of the visitors that the store mainly distribute korean language menu to the visitors, but they also have english menu available. The queue is always there, avoid peak hours should give better experience otherwise you'll be spending a lot of time waiting in the line, though it moved pretty quick. Seating area is a little cramp, which is regular setup in eat-and-go style restaurant in Japan. You wouldn't want to spend too much time anyway because the smoke and smell will completely stick to your clothes for the entire day. greasy ... I not really sure but the steak seasoning was a little weird for me. All my friends really loved it but only I didn't like it very much. I think I should make sure that steak is fully cooked next time. I thought it was going to be okay even if I grilled the steak like medium-rare, but i don't think it wad okay. I expected this to be like sirloin taste or something it was not. And the place is very small so if you come with a group of more than 2, you won't have quality time with your friends or family since there is no regular table.
