First Try of Sakura Mochi on a Stormy Day
We went there on a rainy day when there was a typhoon hitting the area so we tried to stay inside and took our time to try this recommended shop for traditional sakura mochi with green tea. The taste was great and unique. Green tea was traditionally strong but surprisingly refreshing which going incredibly well with this local mochi. The mochi was wrapped with sakura leaf separately serving with sweet red bean. The lady staff was friendly and nice. She introduced us how to drink and eat it all in Japanese, lovely though.
