This place is really fantastic. The service is absolutely wonderful, the booking service online on their website was easy to use especially for someone who does not speak Japanese at all. They responded well within a day and the reservation was made and finding the place was easy.

The staff were great, my makeup artist was really lovely, (I'm sorry I don't speak much Japanese) she tried very hard to converse with me and did a great job on my make up and hair, I really cannot stress how well she did my make up and hair, I really loved it, made it feel very special and unique. And made me feel very comfortable. The kimonos were great, lots of lovely vibrant choices and the photo shoot turned out great. I was really scared and nervous that I would not look so great and scared that the kimonos and photos would not suit me because I am not skinny. however I am happily proven wrong. I really love the photos. The photographer was very accommodating and directed me well, she was professional, instructive and great. She also helped me take selfies and polaroid photos (I brought my own camera) as I was alone. Everything turned out lovely. Amazing staff really made the experience wonderful and fantastic.

The set looked lovely and I'm super happy about the photos and they were even nice enough to give me a free photocard!!! I really recommend this place, the service, the staff and quality of everything was brilliant. Really made my first time in Japan very memorable and amazing~ I would definitely consider and love to come to you guys again in the future!

This experience was absolute perfection from start to finish. Each staff member was incredibly kind and professional. They embody the definition of excellence when it comes to costumer service. I have never had staff make me feel so special in my life (like they were just above and beyond every step of the way). I wish I could give a rating higher than a 5 because really they deserve it. The makeup artists are skilled and take into account any concerns you have (for me I have bags under my eyes and when I told her I’m a bit self conscious about them, she had a perfect solution). She also worked absolute magic on my thin hair making it look so voluminous! The photographer did a great job at directions - it was my first time to do this kind of photoshoot and I was nervous, but he was able to make it so enjoyable with clear instructions and supportive feedback. The clothes are stunning, the set up eye catching, and the experience unforgettable. If you’re looking to have a confidence boost or feel like a princess/prince for a couple of hours then you’ll be glad you did it. This is really something special as someone who lives here I will certainly return. But I think that if you’re passing through as a tourist then it’s also great because the photo book you get at the end will make a really unique souvenir and special memory of your time...

I LOVED my time here. Since I saw pictures done at the studio, I told myself I'll come the next time I'll go to Japan. I finally did! The staff is amazingly kind and speak English so it eases the communication. The person who did my makeup/hair and helped with the outfit was very professional. I didn't have much clue about which choices I should make for hair/makeup/style of kimono and told that I trusted them on this and they helped so much and the result looked amazing! About the shooting itself, the photographer was also so nice and guided me during the whole shooting. I never had a studio experience before and their guidance for posing and look, along with, of course, their photography skills gave a wonderful result!

I was so excited to do the photoshoot and I'm so glad I did! Definitively an experience you should try, even if you never had a similar experience before. 💕 I took the gekkabijin plan so I received 7 printed/retouched pictures at the end and all the pictures taken during the photoshoot by email. ❤️ A marvelous memory from Kyoto!
