Highkarat Kyoto Flea Market — Local services in Kyoto

We been to the Handcrafts market held on 12th July and I was deeply shocked by this store. The owner kept talking to the others when I stopped by and just gave a glance at me. Later she greeted 2 other customers politely. When I asked her in English that if I could try a product, there was no answer. I waited there and looked at her in case she couldn’t hear or was too busy, but actually my patience and understanding was totally a waste. She kept avoiding my eyes, gave no answer but a sarcastic smile. I’m not curious about her motivations and I don’t want to complain about the market or the other stores (actually other crafters are quite friendly and patient, their products are also nice, I paid happily). The key point is that this woman ruined my good mood in such a pretty afternoon for no reason. Still, I came in such a hot weather with expectation of a nice deal, it’s just unfair for me to bear such a terrible treatment. I don’t care about how high status your culture has endowed you, for me it’s just a rude person showing her closed mind and her unprofessional behaviour. Her brand name is Little Me, the number in the market is 242 and 243. Just imagine her outstandingly rude attitude and then decide if you want to experience the same...

I can't recommend it as flee market. It's only a few true flee market stands with pure selection, mediocre quality and high prices. Everything else is craftsman's fair with various expensive products. As a market with a handmade...
