Gozabune Pier — Attraction in Osaka

Avoid Avoid Avoid Arrived at the ticket desk with osaka amazing pass to a sign saying sold out no tickets today. Watched a previous boat leave at 4pm with around 5 people onboard (not full or sold out) Went to the boarding area and spoke to the man running the boat and asked if there are empty spaces could we board. Answer was no

Ticket deck closed just after 4pm so even if I wanted to exchange my ticket for a time I couldn't.

The 4.15 boat left with only 2 people on board. We continued to wait at the boarding area and asked a 2nd member of staff why if the boat is empty why can't people board and the ticket desk is closed so can't exchange our passes for timed tickets.

Overall bad experience with not great customer service levels...if you close the ticket desk how can we exchange a pass or tickets and also why if the boat is empty why can't others then board?

There were a mix of nationalities that this happened to also not just tourists.

Terrible!

We had amazing osaka passes but was told that all tickets had sold out for the day at the ticket office. Decided to go to the 4.15 boat to see if there was space on board. There was 2 people, yes just 2 people on board. But the man at the entrance said no we can't come on, despite having valid osaka passes, we needed exchanged boat tickets instead. By this time the ticket office was now completely shut. Waited for the 4.30 boat which again had many seats available but again was refused on along with other people who only had osaka passes.

Please have some common sense in a situation like this. Keep your ticket office open, if the boat isn't full at the time of departure, let people get a ticket to...

Very poor experience!!!!!! Poor customer service when i bought the ticket in the counter!!!!!! The women, who is sitting in the counter to sell the boat ticket, is so rude. I don't understand what she said, but i told her two tickets for me and my mum, and she kept asking me something in English. Because of the accent , i didn't get what she said, and her attitude turned so rude to me. Finally, i knew what she means, she still lookd so mean, and when i paid the money, she throw my money on the table!!!!!! I was so upset, i faced this experience in Japan. I really don't want to take this boat after i faced this experience but my mum wanna go, so i still bought the tickets....
