The BicCamera Yurakucho Store is absolutely massive, just like other Bic Camera locations I visited in Japan, but this one stood out to me thanks to the service and variety. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. I came specifically looking for a very particular Casio watch, a Japan-exclusive model that isn’t easy to find.
When I reached the floor dedicated to watches, I was genuinely impressed. Not only was the selection extensive, but there were specialized salespeople for each brand, ready to answer questions and guide customers. It felt more like a series of boutique counters inside one department than a typical electronics store.
Unfortunately, the watch I was after wasn’t available at this location, but the salesman didn’t stop there. He checked their inventory, confirmed it wasn’t in stock, and then went out of his way to find another Bic Camera branch about 12 stops away that had one. Thanks to his effort, I was able to track it down and complete my purchase.
This level of service really made the experience memorable. Even in such a huge store with endless options, the staff managed to make it feel personal and efficient. BicCamera Yurakucho is definitely worth visiting for anyone looking for electronics, watches, or even just to experience the scale and professionalism of...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at the BicCamera Yurakucho Store (ビックカメラ 有楽町店) on July 5th, 2024 (Friday), around 20:30.
During my visit, I was looking to purchase a couple of instant films for my Fujifilm instax WIDE 300 and some other products such as batteries. I went to the B2 Floor to find the instant films but noticed that none were displayed.
I approached a staff member named 長谷 (Hase) for assistance. To my surprise, he waved his hand dismissively, ignored my request, and rapidly ran off. As a customer, I felt deeply disrespected and discriminated against by his behavior.
What made the situation even more troubling was that 長谷 (Hase) had previously been very patient and helpful to a Japanese female customer for a long period. We waited patiently while he assisted her. However, after he left us, he did not seem to be in a hurry to help other customers either. This made me feel that, as a foreigner, I was being discriminated against.
Fortunately, another staff member kindly showed me where the films were located, which turned out to be at the counter. While I appreciate the assistance provided by this staff member, I am still troubled by the rude and unprofessional conduct exhibited by 長谷 (Hase).
I hope the management addresses this issue to prevent similar occurrences from happening to other customers...
Read moreThe staff have a very poor English and can’t recognize colors.
I go two times to buy some products and each time they come back with the wrong one. The first it’s an iPhone : I ask for the 14 pro max deep purple, they came back with a 14 pro max black. I notice it and ask ask for the good colors and they came back with an iPhone in deep purple, the color is good so i buy it. 1 minute after the price seems strange to me,so I check the iPhone : iPhone pro deep purple, wrong model. So I go back see the cashier and he say : no refund no exchange. It take me 20 minutes to have someone who can speak English and agree with me : they do a mistake and they will change the phone The second it’s a foundation for my gf, we take the coupon of the product, give it to the cashier who came back with one and we paid. Arrived at the hotel she open it and surprise, they give us the wrong one ! Without any English world and the coupon and the hands of the cashier we didn’t see that wasn’t the colors that we ask.
The cashier should paid more attention to what the customer ask and what they bring back, and they should learn some...
