"Tokyo Garden Hotel 🏨 A Super Comfortable Stay for a Family of Five"

Super simple hotel that is walking distance (10-20 minute) from Tokyo and super close to train stations. It’s also away from the hustle and bustle, and tucked away in a quieter part of the city. Always had the rooms cleaned, breakfast was delicious, and staff was very helpful for a couple of travelers with little to no Japanese. I highly suggest first time travelers to Japan to stay here. PRO TIP: If you’re staying in multiple parts of Japan, ship your luggage from your hotel. It only costs $10-$20 depending how much you you send. Cash only!

We stayed at Hotel Niwa for 6 days for our Holiday Trip in December. This was the best accommodation we had in Tokyo (compared to our other visits). The room space is big compared to the usual Tokyo hotel room standards. The room was able to fit easily our two big luggage plus a carry-on. There is also a separate closet and a big bathroom with a bathtub which you can use to soak in and relax. I love that the hotel is new, fresh, and very modern with amenities like coffee machine, tea services, and daily fresh pajamas. The housekeeping is also top-notch. They changed the sheets and towels daily and replenished all the supplies that we consumed (eg. coffee, tea, water, cotton pads, etc). The hotel location is an advantage if you will be frequenting the areas in Central Tokyo like Ginza, The Imperial Palace, and other business areas in Chiyoda. This is also a very ideal hotel if you will be attending an event or concert at the Tokyo Dome since it’s just a few meters away. It’s quite far from the West Tokyo tourist areas like Shibuya and Shinjuku but the train system and Google Maps are very efficient and functional in Tokyo so the daily train travel is a breeze. The nearest station (Suidobashi Station) is just 6 mins away from the hotel. There are also nearby convenience stores, and restaurants like Sukiya, or Yoshinoya for those late night supply or dinner runs.

This is a 5 Star (Yes it’s actually 4 Star) place for sure. The perfect Tokyo hotel for my wife and I. In a quiet area close to Suidobachi and Ochanomizu Stations. A couple of blocks away are many shops and restaurants. Out of the crazy busy and crowded areas of Tokyo. Would stay here every time we come to Tokyo. Can’t imagine staying in Shibuya or Shinjuku. For peace and quiet stay here,

The rooms were pretty nice. The staff were very good and friendly. The distance from major locations was a bit far but once we figured out the train situation it was fine.
