A must when in Tokyo. Strong, totally sublime flavors in the soup, you’d think it cannot be improved upon. But lo, eat it as is, then add a little shrimp chili oil, taste again, then add curry powder - taste again, then stir in the sour cream from the baguette and you’ve had 4 different beautifully delicious soups!

Start with adding a little to a small portion, then continue adding as you like it. As a dip for the baguette slice, it was also perfect. I can even make a meal of just soup and baguette. That soup is just so full of flavor.

Don’t refuse the apron they will offer you when you sit down, you’ll absolutely need to slurp the noodles, I couldn’t stop myself🫣

The glutton that I am, I also ordered the risotto knowing that I’ll not have a chance to return. Of course, I couldn’t finish the risotto because I’d ordered the deluxe option with 3 slices of very tender pork slices (in this case differing from the customary chashu served elsewhere because it tasted like parma ham), 3 slices chicken, seasoned egg and 2 pieces ravioli to die for (1 truffle & 1 shrimp) on top of ramen of just the right slightly chewy texture. There is no lobster meat in the ramen unless you order the whole lobster but the soup is undoubtedly made from lobster stock!

I wondered what the cream soup would taste like but that’s for another visit.

I arrived at 2:20pm and was #4 in the queue thinking that by this time, the lunch crowd should be done or almost done. The place is small, seats about 10 but it was only about a 10minute wait and well worth it. The staff and chef all spoke excellent English and at every step you’ll be guided on how best to eat your order. The chef also described the use of the 3 spices on the table in perfect English. Curry powder, shrimp chili oil and...

This place is very unique on its own, it’s not just a ramen restaurant, it gives you a fine dining vibe along with exceptional service and the ultimate French and Japanese Ramen fusion experience. I’m no ramen expert but I’ve had a fair share of Michelin starred ramen experiences. I can honestly say this knocks everything out of the park. Maybe it’s just me and this suits my tastebuds but if you’re looking for something special, rich and tasty lobster bisque with al dente ramen then this place really is for you. The lobster gets a special shout out, the meat is tender and full of rich roes. The chicken, and pork were insanely tender, just like the texture of a marshmallow with unique flavours. They also provide you with sour cream in case you want to try changing the taste a bit and add some extra creaminess and acidity to the broth. The results were astonishing. The broth is just heaven, perfect amount of richness with the never ending waves of lobster umami. It’s just so sick!!! The side dishes also looked incredible, I only had the space to fit a boiled egg in me which was delectable the sauce compliments the egg and the bacon so well it’s heavenly. The staff there were so attentive, patient, professional and friendly, they explained everything so well in English, and the chef was just so humble. I would recommend this place 100000000%. This is my favourite...

Feels like a gourmet experience in Jimbocho. I don't often eat lobster so I am unfamiliar with the taste, but the soup did taste more like lobster than shrimp like it should. The soup is quite spiced and there is ebi chili oil, a spice mix as well as black pepper in front of you to adjust the taste. I would have liked salt to add a bit more salt but that is quite rare to see in Japan. I'm sure they would have given it to me if I asked.

The flavor is good but I prefer other French style ramen I have tried. Perhaps I would have liked the cream ramen more personally.

There was also a small soup of the day before the meal, which was very tasty. The risotto was also good, but again maybe I would have enjoyed it more with a creamier soup.

The highlight was definitely the cool introduction of the meals by the staff. It almost felt like a professional narration, very enjoyable. I believe most of the staff spoke English very well and could have conversations, not just simple answers. The lighting was intimate and it was very enjoyable overall.

I recommend this restaurant if you are interested in a different type of ramen. The menu is quite diverse so I'm sure there is something you will be curious to try that you can't get anywhere...
